Surveys shall be made by surveyors authorized by the Surveyor-General, and in accordance with instructions to Settlement Surveyors issued or which may be issued by him; and these rates further imply that all boundary-lines are to be cut and marked on the ground.

KUMEROA VILLAGE SETTLEMENT.—FOR SALE FOR CASH.

Napier, 10th December, 1884.
NOTICE is hereby given that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereunder have been set apart for sale for cash, on village-settlement conditions, and that Wednesday, the 14th January, 1885, has been appointed the day on which applications will be received at this office.
In event of more than one application being received for any section, the right to purchase it will be decided at this office at 4 p.m. on the same day.
Plans and further particulars can be obtained on application.

Description: The lands included in the village are situated on rising and level ground in the centre of the Norsewood Settlement, about three miles from the railway-station at Ormondville.
