SCHEDULE.

Description and Purpose of Original Reserve. Portion of which the Purpose is intended to be changed. Intended Purpose.
All that piece or parcel of land in the Southland Land District, containing 1 rood 38·4 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1, 2A, and 6, Block XII., Town of Campbelltown. Bounded towards the North-east by Barrow Street, 166 links; towards the South-east by Section No. 2B, 125 links; again towards the North-east by Sections Nos. 2B and 6A, 60 links; again towards the South-east by Section No. 3, 125 links; towards the South-west by Section No. 4, 226 links; and towards the North-west by Lee Street, 250 links. Reserved for police purposes. All that piece or parcel of land in the Southland Land District, containing 7·6 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 2A, Block XII., Town of Campbelltown. Bounded towards the North-east by Barrow Street, 38 links; towards the South-east by Section No. 2B, 125 links; towards the South-west by Section No. 1, 38 links; and towards the North-west by other portion of said Section No. 2A, 125 links. Addition to drill-shed site.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth section of “The Land Act, 1877,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land Districts of Wellington, Nelson, and Marlborough, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing 10 acres and 18 perches, more or less, being Section No. 466 on the plan of the Township of Foxton. Bounded towards the North by a public road, 1406 links and 454 links; towards the East by a public road, 1190 links; and towards the South by Sections Nos. 87 and 88, 1736 links. For plantation and recreation purposes.

Also all that other parcel of land containing 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 488 on the plan of the said township. Bounded towards the North by a public road, 200 links; towards the East by Section No. 489, 500 links; towards the South by Section No. 497, 200 links; and towards the West by a public road, 500 links. For a site for a public hall.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing 15 acres 3 roods 12 perches, more or less, being Section No. 51 on the plan of the Motoa Block. Bounded towards the North-east by the Manawatu River; towards the South-east and South-west by Section No. 52, 870 links and 1500 links respectively; and towards the North-west by a public road. For ferry purposes.

Also all that other parcel of land containing 70 acres, more or less, being Section No. 69 on the plan of the said Motoa Block. Bounded towards the West by a public road, 1430 links; and towards the other sides by the Manawatu River. For ferry purposes.

NELSON.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 13 acres, more or less, being portion of land on the left bank of the Grey River, situate in the Arnold Survey District, Grey County; commencing at a survey peg marked xxxviii. on the bank of the River Grey aforesaid. Bounded—Southerly by a line, 175 links; Easterly by lines, 640, 613, 502, 309, 350, 579, 410, 435, 323, 341, and 25 links respectively; Northerly by a line, 150 links; Westerly by the River Grey, 1515 links; again Southerly by a line, 135 links, to peg xiii.; Westerly by lines, 556, 234, 164, 413, 290, 212, and 617 links respectively; Easterly by lines, 239, 180, 625, 778, 248, and 347 links respectively; Northerly by a line, 101 links; Westerly by the River Grey, 2912 links; and again Southerly by a line to commencing point, 30 links: as the same is more particularly delineated upon the plan marked P.W.D. 12422, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington. For railway purposes.

MARLBOROUGH.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 5 acres, more or less, situate in the District of Kaikoura Suburban, Provincial District of Marlborough, being part of Section No. 95 in the said district. Bounded towards the North by a public road, 707·6 links; towards the West by other part of said Section No. 95, 700 links; towards the South by other part of said Section No. 95, 721 links; and towards the East by Section No. 96 in the said district, 700·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. For a gravel-pit.

All that piece or parcel of land containing 5 acres, more or less, situate in the District of Kaikoura Suburban, Provincial District of Marlborough, being part of Section No. 95 in the said district. Bounded towards the North by other part of said Section No. 95, 723·3 links; towards the East by other part of said Section No. 95, 700 links; towards the South by Section No. 102 in the said district, 705·2 links; and towards the West by a public road, 700·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. For a gravel-pit.
