Mataongaonga Riding.
Commencing at the south-east corner of Section No. 112; thence Northerly by the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 112, 113, 114, 115, and 116 to the north-east corner of said Section No. 116; thence generally Northerly by the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 272, 292, 295, 360, and 353 to the north-east corner of the latter Section; thence generally Westerly by the southern boundary of the Mangawhero Road District to the Wanganui River; thence down the said river to the northern boundary of the Glen Durie Riding; thence generally Easterly along the northern boundary of the said riding to the point of commencement.
Wangaehu Riding.
Commencing at the south-western corner of Section No. 153, on the Union Line of Road; thence Easterly by a right line forming the southern boundary of Section No. 153, produced through Sections Nos. 181, 182, 183, and 184, up to the eastern boundary of the latter section; thence South-easterly through Section No. 249 to a point on the Warren-gate Line of Road at its intersection with the boundary between J. W. Baker and H. N. Harrison; thence South-easterly by the said boundary to the Wangaehu River; thence South-westerly by the said river to the extreme southern limit of Section No. 254; thence by the eastern boundary of the Kaitoke Riding, already described, to the point of commencement.
Warren-gate Riding.
Commencing at a point on the Wangaehu River at its intersection by the northern boundary of the Wangaehu Riding; thence up the said river to its junction with the Hoa Ripu Stream; thence up the said stream to the north-east corner of Section No. 301; thence South-westerly by the south-east boundaries of Sections Nos. 301 and 300; thence generally Westerly by the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 300 and 299; thence generally Westerly by the southern boundary of Section No. 252 to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Section No. 240; thence South-westerly by the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 240; thence South-easterly by the south-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 239, 238, and 237 to the south-east corner of the said Section No. 237; thence South-westerly by the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 319, 318, 317, and 316 to the south-east corner of said Section No. 316 on the Matarawa Stream; thence down the said stream to the north-west corner of Section No. 247; thence Westerly by a right line to the north-east corner of Section No. 126A; thence generally Westerly and Southerly by the northern and western boundaries of said Section No. 126A to the north-east corner of Section No. 124; thence Westerly by the northern boundary of said Section No. 124; thence generally Southerly by the eastern boundary of the Glen Durie Riding and by the northern boundary of the Wangaehu Riding to the point of commencement on the Wangaehu River.
Kaukatea Riding.
Commencing at the north-east corner of the Warren-gate Riding, at the junction of the Hoa Ripu Stream with the Wangaehu River; thence up the said river to the south-east corner of the Mangawhero Road District; thence generally Westerly along the southern boundary of the said Mangawhero Road District to the north-west corner of Section No. 352; thence generally Southerly along the eastern boundary of the Mataongaonga Riding to the south-east corner of Section No. 112; thence Westerly by the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 58, 59, and 123; thence by the north-western boundary of the Warren-gate Riding to the point of commencement.
Mangawhero Riding.
The whole of the Mangawhero Road District, as described and bounded in the New Zealand Gazette No. 125, of the 1st December, 1883.
Upper Wangaehu Riding.
The whole of the Upper Wangaehu Road District, as described and bounded in the New Zealand Gazette No. 125, of the 1st December, 1883.
The above special order was passed by the Wanganui County Council, at the office, Ridgway Street, Wanganui, on Tuesday, the 18th day of November, in conformity with “The Counties Act, 1876,” and the amendments thereto.
