Subdivision of Hereditaments.

Auckland, 19th November, 1884.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a sitting of this Court to be held at Mangonui, on the 9th day of December next, will be heard the applications of the persons whose names appear in the first column for the subdivision of the hereditaments comprised in the Crown grants of the pieces of land the names of which appear in the second column, situate in the district named in the third column.

And, in pursuance of the provisions of section 7 of “The Native Land Division Act, 1882,” all persons having in their possession any original grant or other instrument of title relating to any of the lands aforesaid are hereby ordered to produce the same at the said sitting of the Court.

NATIVE LAND COURT, NEW ZEALAND:
GISBORNE DISTRICT.

IN the matter of a judgment of the Court given at Hastings, in the said district, on the 15th day of March, 1884, upon the hearing of a claim to succeed to the interest of Te Tupurupuru in a block of land situate in the said district, and known as “Waimarama;” and in the matter of the application of Matiu Whitiki for a rehearing upon such claim:

I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, and in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me, do hereby dismiss such application.

IN the matter of judgments of the Court given during a session opened at Napier, in the said district, on the 30th day of April, 1884, upon the hearing of claims for the subdivision of blocks of land in the said district, and known as “Waimarama,” “Okaihau,” and “Waipuka;” and in the matter of the application of Watene Hapuku and others for a rehearing upon such claims:

I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, and in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me, do hereby dismiss such application.

TRANSMISSION No. 133.—Notice is hereby given that DAVID KERR, claiming as Trustee under a deed of settlement by WILLIAM ARTHUR MORRISON, formerly of Waimea South, Farmer, deceased, will be registered as Proprietor of Section 93; Square 4, Wai-iti District, comprised in Crown grant, Vol. i.g, folio 187 (less portions vested in Her Majesty for road and railway purposes), unless caveat be lodged against his application on or before the 3rd day of January next.

COUNTY ROAD DECLARED.

I HEREBY give notice that, in pursuance of the powers granted by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” the Southland County Council, by resolution passed on the 5th November, 1884, declared the following road to be a County Road within the meaning of the said Act, namely:—

The road from end of present proclaimed County Road from Waikaka Siding, at Waikaka Township, to the boundary of Waikaia Riding.
