All that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at a point marked W in the Wharekauri No. 1 Block, Chatham Island, and proceeds generally in a north-easterly direction through a point marked W1 to a point marked W2 in the said block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at a point marked W3 in the Wharekauri No. 1 Block, and proceeds generally in a north-easterly direction through the Wharekauri Nos. 1 and 3 Blocks to a point marked W4 in the last-mentioned block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at the point marked W1 in the Wharekauri No. 1 Block, and proceeds in a westerly direction to a point marked V in the said block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at the point marked W5 in the Wharekauri No. 1 Block, and proceeds generally in a north-easterly direction to a point marked W6 in the said block.
As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.O. 1375/19, No. 12A, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

TE AWAPATIKI NO. 1 BLOCK.
All that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at a point marked Y, and proceeds generally in a southerly direction through a point marked Y1 to a point marked Y2.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at the point marked Y1, and proceeds generally in a south-westerly direction through the Te Awapatiki No. 1 Block and the Matarae No. 1 Block to a point marked Y3 in the last-mentioned block.
As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked 1375/19, No. 13, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
Date of warrant, 22nd March, 1882.
All that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at a point marked Y2 in the Te Awapatiki No. 1 Block, Chatham Island, and proceeds generally in an easterly direction through a point marked Y4 to a point marked Y3 on the boundary-line between the Te Awapatiki Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at the point marked Y4 in the Te Awapatiti No. 1 Block, and proceeds in a northerly direction to a point marked Y5 in the said block.
As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.O. 1375/19, No. 14, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at the point marked F2 in the Te Matarae No. 1 Block, and proceeds generally in a north-westerly direction through the Te Matarae Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks and the Kekerione No. 1 Block to a point marked Z in the last-mentioned block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at a point marked F3 in the Te Matarae No. 1 Block, and proceeds generally in an easterly direction to a point marked F4 in the said block.

All that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at a point marked E in the Kekerione No. 1 Block, Chatham Island, and proceeds generally in a south-easterly direction through the said block, Te Awapatiki No. 1 Block, and the Otonga No. 1 Block to a point marked E2 in the last-mentioned block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at a point marked E3 in the Otonga No. 1 Block, and proceeds generally in an easterly and northerly direction through the said block and Te Awapatiki No. 1 Block to a point marked E4 in the last-mentioned block.
As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.O. 1375/30, P.W. 146, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

All that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of which commences at the point marked A in Te Matarae No. 1 Block, Chatham Island, and proceeds generally in an easterly direction through the said block and through Te Awapatiki No. 1 Block to a point marked B on the sea-coast, in the last-mentioned block.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.O. 1375/40, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the sixth section of “The Licensing Act, 1881,” it is enacted that the Governor shall, as soon as conveniently may be after the commencement of the said Act, by Proclamation in the Gazette, from time to time define districts to be licensing districts under the said Act, and from time to time may alter and redefine the boundaries of the same:
And whereas it is expedient to alter and redefine the boundaries of the District of Peninsula:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, alter and redefine the boundaries of the Peninsula Licensing District, which shall, from and after the twentieth day of November instant, be those described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COUNTY OF PENINSULA.
Peninsula Licensing District.—All that area in the Provincial District of Otago bounded generally towards the North-west by Otago Harbour and the Portobello Road District, as the same is defined in the New Zealand Gazette No. 36, of the 30th April, 1883; thence towards the East by Hooper’s Inlet and the ocean; thence towards the South by the ocean; thence towards the West by the Borough of Caversham; thence again towards the North-west and towards the South-west by the Boroughs of St. Kilda and South Dunedin to the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.
