Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Wellington Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrants of the dates given in the said
Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PAREKARETU BLOCK.
ALL that road, 100 links wide, the centre of which commences
at a point marked A, near the south-eastern corner of Section
No. 110, Block II., Ongo Survey District; and which proceeds
generally in a north-north-easterly direction through Sections
Nos. 110 and 120 to a point marked B on the north-eastern
boundary-line of Section No. 110; and from thence it proceeds
in the same general direction to a point marked C on the
north-eastern boundary and near the northern corner of Sec-
tion No. 111: as the same is more particularly delineated on
plan marked S.O. 313–210, deposited in the District Survey
Office, Wellington.
Dates of warrants, 11th February, 1880, and 29th May,
1882.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
ington, this tenth day of November, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-four.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line of
which commences at a point marked C in the Otonga No. 1
Block, Chatham Island, and proceeds generally in a north-
easterly direction through the said block and the Kekerione
No. 1 Block to a point marked D in the last-mentioned
block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, marked D1,
E, F, G, G1, and H, the centre line of which commences at
the point marked D1 on the western bank of the Waitangi
River, in the Kekerione No. 1 Block, and proceeds generally
in a northerly direction through the Kekerione Nos. 1 and 2
Blocks to the point marked H in the first-mentioned block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre
line of which commences at the point marked G1 in the
Kekerione No. 2 Block, and proceeds generally in a south-
westerly direction to a point marked G2 in the said block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre
line of which commences at the point marked G in the
Kekerione No. 1 Block, and proceeds generally in a north-
easterly direction to a point marked I in the said block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre
line of which commences at the point marked F in the
Kekerione No. 1 Block, and proceeds generally in a south-
easterly direction through the said block, the Te Awapatiki
No. 1 Block, and the Te Matarae No. 1 Block to a point
marked F1 in the last-mentioned block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre
line of which commences at the point marked E in the
Kekerione No. 1 Block, and proceeds in a southerly direction
to a point marked E1 on the north bank of the Waitangi
River, in the said block.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre
line of which commences at the point marked D, and pro-
ceeds generally in a westerly direction through the Kekerione
No. 1 Block to a point marked D2 in the said block.
Also all that area being an irregular piece of road situate
in Kekerione No. 1 Block, and lying between the points
marked E, F, G, H, I, J, K, and L, the Waitangi River,
and Waitangi Bay.
As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the
plan marked S.O. 1375/7, No. 1, deposited in the office of
the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
Date of warrant, 22nd March, 1882.
KEKERIONE NO. 1 BLOCK.
All that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre line
of which commences at a point marked H, and proceeds
generally in a north-westerly direction through the points
marked H1 and H3 to a point marked K.
Also all that area being a road 100 links wide, the centre
line of which commences at the point marked H3, and pro-
ceeds generally in a westerly direction to a point marked J.
