Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that, unless within one month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice a sufficient amount be realized by the sale of part of Lots 23 and 37 on the plan deposited in this office as Plan No. 27, containing 1 rood 20 perches, comprised in certificates of title, Vol. xcvi., folio 296, and Vol. liii., folio 9, respectively, to satisfy the principal, interest, and other charges due on a mortgage thereof, given by JOSEPH AUGUSTUS JAMIESON, of Woolston, Hawker, to the STANDARD PROPERTY INVESTMENT SOCIETY, or unless within the same period a caveat be lodged forbidding the same, a foreclosure order will be issued in favour of the Mortgagee.

KORANUI COAL MINING COMPANY IN LIQUIDATION.

IN pursuance of provisions of clause 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” I hereby call a General Meeting of the company, to be held at the Chamber of Commerce, on Wednesday, the 10th December, 1884, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of laying before the meeting the final statement of accounts, and to report that the affairs of the company are fully wound up.

SECTION 31 OF “THE MINES ACT, 1877.”

To the Mining Registrar at Alexandra South of the Mining District of Dunstan, and all other persons whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-race and divert tail-water for irrigation and domestic purposes, commencing in Obelisk Creek, about 250 yards above the residence of George Wilkinson, and terminating on Section 59, Block I., Cairn Hill District. The length of such race will be half a mile or thereabouts, with a mean depth of 1 foot and breadth of 18 inches; intended course nearly east and west; and it is proposed to divert one Government-head of water. The time required for the construction and completion of such race is one month.
