Land taken for Further Portion of Foxton-New Plymouth Railway (Whenuakura Section, further Portion of).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for further portion of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway, namely, Whenuakura Section (further portion of) :
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and performed :
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section one hundred and thirty of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 17 perches, being portion of Section No. 130; commencing at a point 1401 links distant from the south-eastern corner of said section on a bearing of 307° 17'. Bounded—Northerly by a line, 220 links; Westerly by the Patea River; Southerly by a line, 220 links; Easterly by railway land, 50 links, to commencing point.
Also all that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 13 perches, being portion of Section No. 130 aforesaid; commencing at a point 315 links distant along western boundary of railway land from the north-eastern angle of last-described parcel of land. Bounded—North-easterly by a line, 150 links; Westerly by the Patea River; South-westerly by a line, 170 links; Easterly by railway land, 55 links, to commencing point.
Be all the above areas and linkages either more or less; the several parcels of land being situate in the Whenuakura District, Carlyle Survey District, Provincial District of Taranaki; and are more particularly delineated upon the plan marked P.W.D. 11547, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and performed :
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section one hundred and thirty of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.
SCHEDULE.
Crown Lands, Block VI., 7 acres 1 rood 9 perches.—All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 9 perches, and being portion of Crown land in Block VI., Takapau Survey District (Tuatua Block); commencing at the north-west corner of Section No. 15 of said block, on the Manawatu River. Bounded—Generally Easterly by Section No. 15 of said block 495, 265, and 607 links respectively, by Section No. 14 of said block 243, 452, 449, and 135 links respectively to a public road; South-westerly by said public road, 203 links; Westerly by a public road, 104 links; Southerly by a line, 103 links; generally Westerly by a gravel reserve in the said Block VI. 385, 373, 197, 617, and 248 links
