Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified under warrants of the dates given in the said Schedule.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 4 acres and 30 perches, more or less, situated in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing part of the southern portion of the Tahuroa No. 3 Block, No. 1081; commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the Tahuroa No. 3 Block at a distance of 1620 links or thereabouts from its south-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly and south-easterly generally for a distance of 4200 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the southern boundary of the Tahuroa No. 3 Block aforesaid, and at a point on the same 5000 links distant from the south-western angle of the Tahuroa No. 3 Block aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3527, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 16 perches, and 22 acres, respectively, more or less, situated in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being road-lines each 100 links wide, and traversing portions of the Tahuroa No. 1 Block, No. 1081:—

Portion containing 2 acres and 16 perches: Commencing at the south-western corner of the Tahuroa No. 3 Block, being the northern side of the road shove referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly and north-easterly for a distance of 2100 links or thereabouts to the place of its intersection by the southern boundary of the Tahuroa No. 3 Block, and at a distance of 1620 links or thereabouts from the south-western angle of that block.

Portion containing 22 acres: Commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the Tahuroa No. 3 Block at a distance of 50 chains or thereabouts from the south-western angle of that block, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing for a distance of 22620 links or thereabouts to the north-eastern boundary of the Tahuroa No. 1 Block at a point on the same 4963 links or thereabouts from its north-eastern angle: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3527, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 3 roods 21 perches, more or less, situated in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the north-western portion of the Tahuroa No. 2 Block, No. 1116; commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the Tahuroa No. 2 Block at a distance of 4963 links or thereabouts from its western angle, being the middle of the aforesaid road; and thence continuing northerly and north-easterly generally for a distance of 17882 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the Topehaehae Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3527, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 33 perches, more or less, situated in the Maungakawa survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the northern portion of the Waikuku No. 1 Block, No. 623; commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of the Waikuku No. 1 Block at a distance of 2850 links or thereabouts from the Topehaehae Stream, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly for a distance of 3470 links or thereabouts to the Topehaehae Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3527, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 28 perches, more or less, situated in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the northern portion of the Waikuku Block No. 2, No. 623; commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the Waikuku No. 2 Block at a distance of 2850 links or thereabouts from the Topehaehae Stream, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly for a distance of 3166 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the Toenipi Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3527, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods, more or less, situated in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing a part of the western portion of Te Au-o-Waikato Block, No. 759; commencing at a distance of 550 links or thereabouts from the confluence of the Topehaehae and Toenipi Streams at a point on the after stream being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly generally for a distance of 1500 links or thereabouts to its junction with another road: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3527, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of “The Land Act, 1877,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of my suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:

And whereas the Land Board of Auckland has passed resolutions recommending that the land described in the Schedule hereto annexed should be set apart for sale on deferred payments:

And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the aforesaid recommendation, and to set apart the said land accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on deferred payments; and that Wednesday, the fifteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, shall be the day on which the said land shall be open for application, in allotments as surveyed and marked on the selection map in the principal land office of the district,
