Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrants of the dates given in the said
Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 8 perches,
more or less, situated in the Kaihu Survey District, and being
a road-line 100 links wide traversing the Aoroa No. 2 Block,
No. 1903 ; commencing at a point on the southern boundary
of the aforesaid block at a distance of 570 links or there-
abouts from the Wairoa River, being the middle of the road
above referred to ; and thence continuing north-westerly and
northerly for a distance of 2300 links or thereabouts to the
north-western boundary of the Aoroa No. 2 Block aforesaid,
and at a distance of 175 links or thereabouts from the Wairoa
River aforesaid : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less ;
as the same is delineated on Plan No. 2287, deposited in the
Survey Office at Auckland.

Governor's warrant dated 12th October, 1880.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 17 perches, more
or less, situated in the Tokatoka Survey District, and being
a portion of a road-line varying in width, and lying within
the north-eastern boundary-line of the Oturci Block, No
2653 ; commencing at a point on the north-western boundary
of the aforesaid block at a distance of 73-8 links from its
north-eastern angle ; and thence continuing south-easterly
along that boundary for a distance of 1100 links or there-
abouts : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less ; as the
same is delineated on Plan No. 2237, deposited in the Survey
Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less,
situated in the Kaihu Survey District, and being a portion
of a road-line varying in width, and lying within the south-
western boundary-line of the Kiri-o-Tupato No. 4 Block, No.
3670 ; commencing at the Mangao River termination of the
south-western boundary of the Kiri-o-Tupato Block aforesaid ;

and thence continuing south-easterly along that boundary for
a distance of 480 links or thereabouts : be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less ; as the same is delineated on Plan No.
2287, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 32 perches, 4
acres 1 rood 3 perches, and 13 acres 1 rood 2-5 perches,
respectively, more or less, situated in the Kaihu and Toka-
toka Survey Districts, and being portions of a line of road
100 links wide traversing the Aoroa Block, No. 3756 :β€”

Portion containing 5 acres and 32 perches, situated in the
Kaihu Survey District : Commencing at a point on the south-
western boundary of the Mangawhara Block at a distance of
597 links or thereabouts from its south-western angle, being
the middle of the road above referred to ; and thence con-
tinuing north-westerly generally for a distance of 5200 links
or thereabouts to the northernmost angle of the Aoroa Block
aforesaid.

Portion containing 4 acres 1 rood 3 perches, situated in
the Kaihu and Tokatoka Survey Districts : Commencing at a
point on the southern boundary of the Aoroa No. 2 Block at
a distance of 570 links or thereabouts from the Wairoa River,
being the middle of the road above referred to ; and thence
continuing south-easterly generally for a distance of 4300
links to the north-western boundary of the Oruarika Block,
No. 1945, and at a distance of 25 links from the north-
western angle of the latter block.

Portion containing 13 acres 1 rood 2-5 perches, situated in
the Tokatoka Survey District : Commencing at a point on
the south-eastern boundary of the Aoroa No. 4 Block at a
distance of 2250 links or thereabouts from the Wairoa River,
being the middle of the road above referred to ; and thence
continuing south-easterly generally for a distance of 13400
links or thereabouts to the north-eastern angle of the Okapa-
kapa Block, No. 2656 : be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less ; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 2287, deposited
in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 31 perches, more
or less, situated in the Tokatoka Survey District, and being
a road-line varying in width, and lying within the north-
eastern boundary of the Okapakapa Block, No. 2656 ; com-
mencing at a point on the northern boundary-line of the
Okapakapa Block aforesaid at a distance of 21 links from its
north-eastern angle ; and thence continuing south-easterly
generally for a distance of 1565 links or thereabouts to the
south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block to a point 73-8
links distant from its easternmost angle : be all the afor-
