NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.

Waikaia District, 11th September, 1883.
To the Mining Registrar, at Waikaia, of the Otago Mining
District, and all other persons whom it may conccern.

WE hereby give notice that we intend to construct a
Water-race to divert and use water for mining pur-
poses, commencing at a point in McLean's Creek, Waikaia
Bush, and terminating at same creek via McLean and
Hutton's sawmill.

The length of such race is twenty chains or thereabouts,
and its intended course is east to west; the mean depth of
such race is 2 feet, and the mean breadth is 2 feet, and
it is proposed to divert three Government-heads of water.

THE BRIGHT SMILE (COROMANDEL) GOLD-MINING
COMPANY (LIMITED).

SPECIAL RESOLUTION PASSED THE 27TH AUGUST, 1883;
CONFIRMED THE 11TH SEPTEMBER, 1883.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the Bright Smile
(Coromandel) Gold-Mining Company (Limited), duly
convened and held at the office of the Company on the 27th
day of August, 1883, the subjoined special resolution was
duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general
meeting of the said Company, also duly convened, and held
at the same place on the 11th day of September, 1883, the
subjoined special resolution was duly confirmed.

RESOLUTION.

That the Company be wound up voluntarily under the
provisions of "The Companies Act, 1882;" and that Moritz
Samuel Leers, public accountant, be and he is hereby ap-
pointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding up, and
that his remuneration for such winding up be twenty-five
pounds.

the Last-find Gold Mining Company as a Limited
Company, under the provisions of "The Mining Companies
Act, 1872," and its amendments.

  1. The name of the company is to be the Last-find
    Gold-Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of operations is at Te Aroha, in the Provincial
    District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The registered office of the company will be situated at
    the New Zealand Insurance Company's Buildings, Auckland,
    in the Provincial District of Auckland, and Colony of New

  4. The nominal capital of the company is fifteen thousand
    pounds sterling, in fifteen thousand shares of one pound
    sterling each.

    being two-thirds of the entire number of shares in the com-
