The subjoined table shows the mortality for the last two months at each of these four boroughs from six principal
zymotic diseases of the miasmatic order, and also the deaths from certain inflammatory diseases of the lungs. These
causes of death have been distinguished from the others of the classes to which they belong, as being the most important
special diseases which give rise to sudden increases in the death-rates of towns, and the prevalence of which is closely
connected with sanitary condition and climatic influence of the season on health.

resolution, wound up voluntarily.

UNITED ALPINE QUARTZ-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

INCREASE OF CAPITAL.

I, the undersigned Manager, hereby give notice that an
increase in the capital of the above-named Company
was, on the 7th day of August, 1883, resolved on.

The mode adopted for the increase is by raising the
amount of each of the thirty-two thousand (32,000) shares
existing in the Company from one pound (£1) to one pound
ten shillings (£1 10s.).
