o nga tangata ki tetahi piihi whenua i roto i taua Takiwa ko Tarewauru to ingen i roto i te Panui, engari
i roto nga i Ota o te Kooti ko Tarewauru me Tarewauru nama 1 nga ingoa.
I runga hoki i etahi tono whakawa tuarua i tuhituhia mai nei ki tenei Kooti i roto i nga marama o toru
i muri mai i taua whakataunga a te Kooti he whakaaro ki to ratou mate i tuhia mai ai e aua tangata Maori
kia whakawakia tuaruatia avo tana kereme:
Na, ko ahau, ko Hone Eruini Maketenara te Tumaki Kaiwhakawa o taua Kooti, i runga it te mana kua
tukua mai nei ki ahau mo taua mahi, ka whakahau atu nei kia whakawakia tuaruatia ano taua kereme a
tetahi tuunga o te Kooti ki Kihipane, ki roto i taua Takiwa, a te 27 o nga ra o Akuhata, 1883.

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT, NEW ZEALAND. DISTRICT OF GISBORNE.
IN the matter of a decision of the Court given at Gisborne in the said district, on the 16th of May, 1882,
upon the hearing of a claim for investigation of title to land situate in the said district, and known as
Te Rangaiohinehau; and in the matter of the several applications made ro this Court in writing, within
three months after such decision was given, by Natives thinking themselves aggrieved thereby, for a rehearing
upon the aforesaid claim :
I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, in exercise of the authority in that behalf
vested in me, do hereby order that a rehearing upon such claim be had on the 27th day of August next, at
a sitting of the Court to be then holden at Gisborne, in the district aforesaid.
Dated this 23rd day of February, 1883.
