Hawkedwood Riding.

All that area in the Provincial District of Nelson, bounded
towards the North-east and North-west by Marlborough
County; towards the South-east by the ocean to the mouth of
the Hurunui River; towards the South by Ashley County;
and towards the North-west generally by Amuri County to the
place of commencement.

AMURI COUNTY.

Te Koa Riding.

All that area in the Provincial District of Nelson, bounded
towards the North-east, South-east, North, and again towards
the North-east by Marlborough County, from Tophouse to the
confluence of the Rivers Gelt and Conway; again towards the
South-east by Cheviot County; towards the South-west by
Ashley County; and towards the North-west by Grey and
Inangahua and Waimea Counties to the place of commence-
ment.

AKAROA COUNTY.

Little River Riding.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North by Selwyn County, from the River
Halswell, at the middle of the Road and Drain Reserve, to the
north-eastern corner of Rural Section No. 1060; towards the
North-east by the summit of the Port Hills and by a right line
thence through Trig. Station L1 to Mount Herbert; again
towards the North by a right line to Mount Herbert Peak, and
by that line continued to the Mount Herbert Peak Road; again
towards the North-east and North by the south sides of the
said Mount Herbert Peak Road and the Purau and Akaroa
Road to the junction of the latter road with the Port Levy and
Little River Road; again towards the North-east and towards
the East and South-east by the north side of the said Port Levy
and Little River Road to its junction with the Terawera Valley
Road; thence by the south side of the said Terawera Valley
Road to the Little River Railway Reserve; thence to and by
the south side of the Barry Pass Road to Barry Pass; thence
by the summit of the main range over the said Barry Pass,
Wooded Peak, French Hill, Wainui Peak, Kitson’s Pole, Saddle
Hill, and Carew’s Peak to Mount Bossu; thence by the summit
of the spur running down to the eastern head of Island Bay;
towards the South-west and South by the ocean to the mouth
of Lake Ellesmere; towards the North and again towards the
South-west by the southern and north-eastern shores of the
said Lake Ellesmere to the mouth of the River Halswell; and
towards the North-west by the middle of the Road and Drain Reserve afore-
said to the place of commencement.

Okain’s Bay Riding.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-west and North-east by the ocean;
towards the South by the summit of the leading spur from the
Putakoto Head to Libeau’s Peak; towards the South-west and
West by the summit of the leading range between Akaroa
Harbour and the East Coast to Pigeon Bay Riding of Akaroa
County; and towards the North-west by Pigeon Bay Riding
aforesaid to the place of commencement.

Wainui Riding.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North by the Port Levy and the Pigeon
Bay Ridings of Akaroa County, and by the Okain’s Bay Riding,
hereinbefore described; towards the South-east by the ocean;
towards the South-west and again towards the South-east by
Akaroa Harbour; towards the South by the ocean; and
thence towards the West by Little River Riding, hereinbefore
described, to the Port Levy Riding aforesaid, the place of com-
mencement: excepting from the above-described area the
Borough of Akaroa.

ASHBURTON COUNTY.

Mount Somers Riding.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North and North-east respectively by
a right line due east from the Southern Alps to the source of
the Rakaia River, near Whitcombe’s Pass; thence by a line
along the middle of the Rakaia River to the Mount Hutt
Road District; thence by that road district to a road
forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 28886,
Spaxton Survey District; towards the South-east by a line
along the middle of that road and its continuation in a
south-easterly direction to its junction with the road forming
the northern boundary of Section No. 25462, Spaxton
Survey District aforesaid; thence by said Section No. 25462
by Sections Nos. 26852, 25538, 20654, 19708, 15441,
34166, and 11110, Westerfield Survey District, to the north
branch of the Ashburton River; towards the South-west by
along the middle of that branch to a point in line with the
south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 16558, Westerfield
Survey District aforesaid; again towards the South-east by a
right line to and thence by the south-eastern boundary-line of

bounded towards the North-east by the Mount Hutt Road
District; again towards the North-east and towards the
South-east and North-west generally by the South Rakaia
Road District; towards the South-east by the Wakanui Road
District, the Borough of Ashburton and the Longbeach Road
District; towards the South-west by Geraldine County; and
towards the North-west and again towards the North-east and
North-west by Mount Somers Riding, hereinbefore described,
