DEFERRED PAYMENTS.
ON Tuesday, the 10th July next, fifteen sections, as per
Schedule at foot, will be open to selectors.
Applications will be received at the Land Office, Wellington,
and at the Institute, Masterton, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Should
two or more persons apply for the same section, it will be put
up to auction between the applicants, on Thursday, at 10.30
a.m., at the Masterton Institute.
Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of "The Mines
Act, 1878," with the regulations made under that Act
for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby
notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands
for gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against
such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds
of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the
Warden at Naseby on or before the 25th day of June, 1883.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen
at the Warden's Office at Naseby.

APPLICANTS: William Williamson and Mungo Williamson.
Style under which it is intended to conduct the business:
"Williamson Brothers." 6 acres, in the Mount Ida Mining
District.
Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this first day of
June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three.

rights or business licenses as if a lease of the said ground had
not been applied for, viz. :-

Company's lease, Merrygigs, Inangahua.
