Native Title extinguished over Te Komata North Block,
Waihou and Ohinemuri Survey Districts.
I T is hereby notified that the Native title has been extin-
guished over the parcel of land described and mentioned
in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
TE KOMATA NORTH, NO. 2268.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 864 acres, more or less, situated
in the Waihou and Ohinemuri Survey Districts, in Blocks XII.
and IX. respectively, and known by the name of Te Komata
North. Bounded towards the North by a line, 15985 links;
towards the East by a line, 1877 links; towards the North-east
and South by Te Komata Stream; and towards the West by
the Waihou River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less;
as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3288, deposited in the
Survey Office at Auckland.

of August next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at this office,
to hear the said application and all objections thereto; and
I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant
of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 9th day of
August next, at this office, particulars in writing of their ob-
jections to the said application, otherwise they will be pre-

I T is hereby notified that, in consequence of non-payment of
rent and other causes, His Excellency the Governor has
been pleased to pronounce the gold-mining leases, particulars of
which are set forth in the Schedule hereto, cancelled, and that
the ground held under such leases is, so far as the said leases
are concerned, but without prejudice to any other rights or
interests which may affect the same, open for application under
"The Mines Act, 1877," and any rules and regulations made
thereunder.
