IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the forty-fifth section of "The Cemeteries Act,
1882," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local
authorities specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto
to have the control and management of the public cemeteries
specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

in the Borough of Thames, Provincial
District of Auckland, and containing by
admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 16 perches,
more or less. Bounded towards the
North-east by Mill Street, 689 links;
towards the South-east by a road-line,
1200 links; towards the South-west by
other portion of the Huikaretu A No. 2
Block aforesaid, 867 links; and towards
the North-west by the Pukerahui and
Ngamoko Blocks, 315, 306, 365, and 394
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more
or less.
All that piece or parcel of land known
as a cemetery reserve, and being portion
of the Huikaretu A No. 2 Block, situated
in the Borough of Thames, Provincial
District of Auckland, and containing by
admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 3 perches,
more or less. Bounded towards the
North-east by other portion of the Hui-
karetu A No. 2 Block aforesaid, 485 links;
towards the South-east by Korokoro A
Block, 746 and 301 links; towards the
South-west by other portion of the Hui-
karetu A No. 2 Block aforesaid, 886 links;
and towards the North-west by the Puke-
rahui and Ngamoko Blocks, 366, 221, and
380 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less.

this sixth day of June, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-three.
