western boundary-line of the last-mentioned section for a dis-
tance of 214 chains, more or less; thence towards the South-
east by a right line bearing 200° (magnetic) through the Gorge
of the Manawatu River till it intersects a line being the pro-
duction of the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 253,
Block XII., Kairanga Survey District; thence towards the
South-west by a right line to and thence by that section and
Section No. 254, Block XII. aforesaid, to the north-east corner
of the latter section; thence by a right line across the Mana-
watu River aforesaid to the north-east corner of Ti Wi Native
Reserve; thence again towards the South-east by that reserve;
thence again towards the South-west and South-east by Sections
Nos. 411, 412, and 413, Township of Palmerston, Block VIII.,
Kairanga Survey District aforesaid, and a road forming the
south-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7,
6, and 5, Block VII., Kairanga Survey District aforesaid, and of
Section No. 56, Block III., of that survey district to its junction
with the railway-line; thence by the railway-line to the Borough
of Feilding; thence again towards the South-east and South
generally by that borough to Mount Taylor; thence again
towards the South-west by Sections Nos. 130, 129, and 125,
Block X., 124, 119, 118, and 112, Block IX., Oroua Survey District
aforesaid, and Section No. 111, Block IV., Rangitoto Survey
District, to Mount Biggs; thence by Section No. 101, the
southern boundary-line of Section No. 144 (Native reserve),
and the eastern and southern boundary-lines of Section No. 99,
Block IV., Rangitoto Survey District aforesaid, to the Rangi-
tikei River; thence towards the North-west by a line along the
middle of that river to a point in line with the aforesaid pro-
duction of the northern boundary-line of Section No. 284 of
Block XIV., Ongo Survey District aforesaid; and thence by a
right line to the place of commencement: excepting from the
above-described area the Town District of Halcombe.

Subdivision No. 1.
Bounded towards the North-east by the north-eastern side
of a road known as Gillett's Line; thence towards the South-
east by the Borough of Feilding; thence towards the South-
west by Sections Nos. 130, 129, and 125, Block X., and Sections
Nos. 124, 119, and 118, Block IX, Oroua Survey District; and
thence towards the North-west by the road forming the south-
eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 50, 51, 52, and 53, Block
IX., Oroua Survey District aforesaid, to the place of commence-
ment.

Subdivision No. 2.
Bounded towards the North-east by the north-eastern side of
a road known as Gillett's Line and by the production of the
same in a north-westerly direction to the middle of the Rangi-
tikei River; thence towards the South-east by Subdivision
No. 1, hereinbefore described; thence towards the South-west
by Section No. 112, Block IX., Oroua Survey District, and
Sections Nos. 111 and 101, the southern boundary-line of
Section No. 144, and the eastern and southern boundary-lines of
Section No. 99, all of Block IV., Rangitoto Survey District, to
the Rangitikei River; and thence towards the West by a line
along the middle of the Rangitikei River aforesaid to the place
of commencement: excepting from the above-described area the
Town District of Halcombe.

Subdivision No. 3.
Bounded towards the North and North-east by the northern
and north-eastern boundary-lines of the Manchester Road Dis-
trict, hereinbefore described; thence towards the South-east by
a line bearing 34° (magnetic) from the said north-eastern boun-
dary-line to the northernmost corner of Subdivision No. 1,
hereinbefore described; thence towards the South-west by Sub-
division No. 2, hereinbefore described; and thence towards the
West and North-west by a line along the middle of the Rangi-
tikei River to the northern boundary-line of the Manchester
Road District aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Subdivision No. 4.
Bounded towards the North-east by the north-eastern boun-
dary-line of the Manchester Road District, hereinbefore de-
scribed; thence towards the South-east by the Oroua River;
thence towards the South-west generally by the Borough of
Feilding and Subdivision No. 1, hereinbefore described; and
thence towards the North-west by Subdivision No. 3, herein-
before described, to the north-eastern boundary-line of the Man-
chester Road District aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Subdivision No. 5.
Bounded towards the North-east by the north-eastern boun-
dary-line of the Manchester Road District, hereinbefore de-
scribed; thence towards the East by a line drawn south
(magnetic) from that boundary-line to the westernmost corner
of Section No. 413, Township of Palmerston, Block VIII.,
Kairanga Survey District; thence towards the South-west by
a road forming the south-westefn boundaries of Sections Nos.
13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 5, Block VII., Kairanga Survey Dis-
trict, to its junction with
the railway-line; thence by the railway-line aforesaid; and
thence towards the North-west by the Borough of Feilding and
Subdivision No. 4, hereinbefore described, to the north-eastern
boundary-line of the Manchester Road District aforesaid, the
place of commencement.

Subdivision No. 6.
Bounded towards the North-east, South-east, and South-west
by the north-eastern, south-eastern, and south-western boun-
dary-lines of the Manchester Road District, hereinbefore de-
scribed; and thence towards the West by Subdivision No. 5,
hereinbefore described, to the north-eastern boundary-line of
the Manchester Road District aforesaid, the place of commence-
ment.

Manawatu Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Wellington, bounded
towards the North-east generally by the Manchester and the
Kiwitea Road Districts, hereinbefore described, from the Oroua
River to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence towards
the South-east by a line across the Manawatu River and by
the nearest spur to the summit of the Tararua Range; thence
by that summit to the south-western boundary-line of the Fitz-
herbert Township Block; thence towards the South-west by
lines forming the south-western boundaries of the said town-
ship block to the Manawatu River; thence towards the South
by a line along the middle of that river to its confluence with
the Oroua River aforesaid; and thence towards the West and
North-west by a line along the middle of the latter river to
the Manchester Road District aforesaid, the place of commence-
ment: excepting from the above-described area the Borough of
Palmerston North.

Subdivision No. 1.
Bounded towards the North-east by Section No. 11, a road,
and Section No. 10, Block V., Kairanga Survey District, and
a right line to the Taonui River, at the western corner of
Section No. 1609 of said Block V.; thence by that section and
Section No. 1551, a road forming the south-western boundaries
of Sections Nos. 1552, 1553, 1554, and 1555, a road, and by Sec-
tions Nos. 1576, 1577, Block IX., Kairanga Survey District
aforesaid; thence by a road, Section No. 355, Block X., Kai-
ranga Survey District aforesaid, Section No. 356, Block XIV.,
Kairanga Survey District aforesaid, by the north-eastern side
of the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections
Nos. 18 and 19 of said Block XIV., and the production of the
said side of that road to the middle of the Manawatu River;
thence towards the South-east by a line along the middle of that
river to its confluence with the Oroua River; thence towards
the North-west by a line along the middle of the latter river to
a point in line with the south-western boundary-line of Section
No. 11 aforesaid; and thence by a right line to that section,
the place of commencement.

Subdivision No. 2.
Bounded towards the North-east by Sections Nos. 3, 2, and
1, Block II., Kairanga Survey District; thence by a right line
to the Taonui Stream at the south-western corner of Section No.
593, said Block II; thence by that section and Sections Nos.
594, 595, a road, Sections Nos. 596, 597, 598, 599, a road, Sections
Nos. 534 and 533, Block VI., Kairanga Survey District afore-
said, Sections Nos. 532, 531, a road, and Sections Nos. 530,
529, 528, and 527, Block VII., Kairanga Survey District afore-
said; thence towards the South-east and North-east by the
Borough of Palmerston North to the Manawatu River; thence
again towards the South-east by a line along the middle of that
river to Subdivision No. 1, hereinbefore described; thence
towards the South-west by that subdivision to the Oroua River;
thence towards the North-west by a line along the middle of
that river to a point in line with the western boundary of
Section No. 3 aforesaid; and thence by a right line to that
section, the place of commencement.

Subdivision No. 3.
Bounded towards the North-east generally by the Manchester
Road District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the South-
east by a line along the middle of the Manawatu River to a
point in line with the north-eastern boundary of the Borough
of Palmerston North; thence towards the South-west and
again towards the South-east by a right line to and by that
borough; thence again towards the South-west by Subdivision
No. 2, hereinbefore described; and thence towards the North-
west by a line along the middle of the Oroua River to the
Manchester Road District aforesaid, the place of commence-
ment.

Subdivision No. 4.
Bounded towards the North-east and North-west and again
