Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of "The Land Act,
1877," it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation
in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of any
suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he
shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred pay-
ments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the
land shall be open for application; and that he may also in
like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks
or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and
may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such
Proclamation :

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the above-
named Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on de-
ferred payments; and that Wednesday, the twentieth day of
June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, shall be
the day on which the said land shall be open for application at
the Land Office at Auckland, in allotments as surveyed and
marked on the selection map in that office.

Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Auckland,
this thirtieth day of April, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three.
