HEREBY notify that the Town and Rural Lands mentioned
in the Schedule hereunder will be offered for sale by public
auction, at the Land Office, Gisborne, on Friday, the 18th May
next, at the hour of 11 o'clock in the forenoon.

Description of Land. Lots 1 and 55, about 7 acres swamp,
remainder open fern land, situated four and a half miles from
Tauranga, on a good cart-road; 253, about one-third swamp,
remainder open fern land, rather broken, situated four and a
half miles froin Tauranga, on a good road, swamp in both sec-
tions drainable; 339, 1 acre bush, remainder fern, well watered,
part broken; 341, open fern land, well watered, part broken;
541, 3 acres fern, remainder forest; 542, 543, 545, 546, 547, all
forest, well watered, broken; 544, 15 acres fern, remainder
forest. The forest in the above consists of rimu, tawa, &c.
NOTE. Plans of the above lands may be seen, and further
particulars obtained, on application at this office, and at the Land
Office, Tauranga.
Terms of Sale: One fourth of purchase-money to be paid at
time of sale, and the balance within one month thereafter,
otherwise the part of the purchase-money paid by way of
deposit shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the
land shall henceforward be null and void. Crown-grant fee to
be paid on completion of purchase.
Rural Lands for Sale on Deferred Payments. Auckland
Land District.

HEREBY notify that the lands enumerated in the Schedule
hereunder have been set apart for sale on deferred payments,
and that Friday, the 18th May, has been appointed as the day
on which the said lands shall be opened for application.

Description of Land. Front portion along the Waikakariki
Stream, for an average width of about 10 chains, flat, partially
bush; stream forms the boundary.
Terms of Sale: One-fourth of purchase-money to be paid at

Description of Land. About 50 acres mixed light bush, 20
acres light scrub, remainder open fern land, of which 25 acres
level, about 20 acres subject to flood. The bush portion is
broken.
Application for the above lands will be received at this office,
and at the Land Office, Tauranga, where plans may be inspected.
In the event of more than one application being received for
the above section, the right to occupy the same will be decided
by public auction on Wednesday, the 23rd May, 1883, at 11
o'clock in the forenoon, at the Land Office, Tauranga.
NOTE. Deposit of one-twentieth of the price of the land to
be tendered with application.
