THE following special orders, made by the Manganui Road
Board, are published in accordance with "The Road Boards
Act, 1882."
THOMAS DICK.
SPECIAL ORDERS.
- THAT the Manganui Road Board shall consist of seven
members. - That the general election of members shall take place on
the first Saturday in the month of May each year, at the
hour of 1 p.m., at the Public Schoolhouse, Midhirst. - That the retiring members are to be balloted for at the
first meeting to be held in the month of April each year after
the general election. - That, notwithstanding the provisions of "The Regulation
of Local Elections Act, 1876," the elections of the members of
the Road Board shall be conducted in manner prescribed by
section 49 of "The Road Boards Act, 1882." - That the annual meeting, as required by section 64 of
"The Road Boards Act, 1882," shall be held at 12 noon, on the
first Saturday in the month of May in each year, in the Public
Schoolhouse, Midhirst.
I hereby certify that the above resolutions were passed as
special orders on the 30th March, 1883.

(1.) Resolved, That the number of Trustees to be elected for the
Tamaki West District Board shall be five as heretofore.
(2.) Resolved, That the forthcoming election of Trustees for
the Tamaki West Highway Board shall be in accordance with
section 49 of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."
I hereby certify that the foregoing special orders were duly
passed by the above Board on the 31st March, 1883.

THE following special orders were passed by the Mauku Road
Board, at a meeting held at their office, The Hall, Patumahoe,
on the 10th March, 1883:-
"1. That the Mauku Road Board shall consist of five mem-
bers."
"2. That the annual meeting of ratepayers shall be held on
Saturday, the 5th May, 1883, at 2 p.m."
"3. That the general election of the members of the Board
shall be held on Saturday, the 5th May, 1883, at 3 p.m., and
that the election be conducted in the manner provided by
section 49 of 'The Road Boards Act, 1882.'"
I certify that the above resolutions were passed at the meet-
ing held as above.
