SPECIAL ORDERS.

1. THAT the Manganui Road Board shall consist of seven
   members.
2. That the general election of members shall take place on
   the first Saturday in the month of May each year, at the
   hour of 1 p.m., at the Public Schoolhouse, Midhirst.
3. That the retiring members are to be balloted for at the
   first meeting to be held in the month of April each year after
   the general election.
4. That, notwithstanding the provisions of "The Regulation
   of Local Elections Act, 1876," the elections of the members of
   the Road Board shall be conducted in manner prescribed by
   section 49 of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."
5. That the annual meeting, as required by section 64 of
   "The Road Boards Act, 1882," shall be held at 12 noon, on the
   first Saturday in the month of May in each year, in the Public
   Schoolhouse, Midhirst.
   I hereby certify that the above resolutions were passed as
   special orders on the 30th March, 1883.

"3. That the general election of the members of the Board
shall be held on Saturday, the 5th May, 1883, at 3 p.m., and
