GERALDINE COUNTY.

Mount Peel Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-west by a line along the
middle of Forest Creek, from its source in Two-Thumb
Range to its confluence with the Rangitata River; thence
towards the North-east by a line along the middle of that
river to a point in line with the north side of a road
leading from the Rangitata River aforesaid, within Reserve
No. 1237 (in red), Orari Survey District, to Tripp's Cutting;
thence towards the South by that road to Tripp's Cutting
aforesaid; thence towards the South-east by a right line to the
road forming the south-east boundary of Reserve No. 1734 (in
red); thence by that road to its junction with the road
passing through Section No. 9548; thence again towards the
North-east by the latter road to the road running through
Section No. 9010; thence again towards the South-east by the
latter road to the eastern boundary of Run No. 546; thence by
that boundary to the stream running from the south-eastern
corner of that run; thence again towards the North-east by
that stream to its confluence with the south branch of
the River Hae-hac-te-moana; thence by that branch to the
western boundary of Run No. 548; thence again towards the
South-east and North-east by that boundary and the River
Opuha to its confluence with the River Opihi; thence towards the
South-west by the latter river to the south-eastern boundary of
Run No. 423, Class 2, formerly Run No. 254, Class 3; thence again
towards the North-west by that boundary to the south branch
of the River Opuha aforesaid; thence again towards the South-
west by that river, the northern boundary of Run No. 357,
and a line in continuation thereof to the summit of the
Two-Thumb Range aforesaid; and thence again towards the
North-west by the summit of that range to the source of
Forest Creek aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Temuka Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-east by a line along the middle of
the Rangitata River; thence towards the South-east by the
ocean; thence towards the South and South-west by the River
Opihi; and thence towards the North-west, North, and again
towards the North-west by a road forming the north-western
boundary of Reserve No. 944 and of Sections Nos. 12438
and 13741, Opihi Survey District, to the north-west corner
of the latter scation; thence by a right line to the south-
eastern corner of Section No. 7462, Opihi Survey District
aforesaid; thence by that section to the road at its north-
eastern corner; thence by that road continued to and through
Section No. 3275, Opihi Survey District aforesaid; thence by
the aforesaid road continued past Trig. Pole 5 to its junction
with the road intersecting Section No. 7319, Geraldine Survey
District; thence by the latter road to the Geraldine Road;
thence by that road to and by the north-western boundary-line
of Section No. 9031, Geraldine Survey District, to its northern-
most corner; thence by a right line to and by the northern
boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 11526 and 5961, Geraldine
Survey District, to the Main South Road; and thence by that
road to where it crosses the railway-line near Subdivision No. 42
of Reserve No. 389, near Winchester; and thence by the railway
line aforesaid to the middle of the Rangitata River aforesaid,
the place of commencement.

Geraldine Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the West and North-west by the Mount Feel
Road District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the
North-east by a line along the middle of the Rangitata River;
thence towards the South-east and South by the Temuka Road
District, hereinbefore described; and thence towards the South-
west by a line along the middle of the River Ouihi to the
Mount Peel Road District aforesaid, the place of commence.

Levels Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-east by the Mount Peel, the
Geraldine, and the Temuka Road Districts, hereinbefore de-
scribed; thence towards the East by the ocean; thence towards
the South-west by a line along the middle of the Pareora
River to where it is intersected by a road, being the continua-
tion of the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Section
No. 33288, Pareora Survey District; thence northerly by that
road, passing Sections Nos. 28531 and 24741, Parcora Survey Dis-
trict aforesaid, to Section No. 30218, at the Tengawai River;
thence by a right line across that river to the south-eastern corner
by the Tengawai River aforesaid to a road intersecting Section
No. 11607, Tengawai Survey District; thence by that road and
its continuation past Sections Nos. 30839 and 28941; thence
by the north-western boundary-line of the latter section and of
Section No. 27450, Tengawai Survey District aforesaid, to the
Opihi River, at the Mount Peel Road District aforesaid, the
place of commencement: excepting from the above described
area the Borough of Timaru.

Seadown Subdivision.

Bounded towards the South-west by the Old South Road,
from Whale's Creek to Washdyke; thence by the Mount Cook
Road to the junction of Kerrytown Road with the Opihi River;
thence towards the North by that river to the ocean; and
thence towards the East by the ocean to the place of commence-
ment.

Point Subdivision.

Bounded towards the South by the Washdyke Flat Road
from Washdyke, and passing between Sections Nos. 10466 and
10465, through Section No. 11237, between Sections Nos. 20662,
19325, and 14825, 15762 and 15671, 15758 and 15763 to the
Cliffs Road; and thence by a right line due west to the Mount
Cook Road District, hereinafter described; thence towards the
South-west by the Mount Cook Road District aforesaid;
thence towards the North-east by a line along the middle of the
Opihi River; and thence towards the East by the Seadown
Subdivision, hereinbefore described, to the place of commence-
ment.

Otipua Subdivision.

Comprises all that portion of the Levels Road District, herein-
before described, not included in the Seadown and the Point
Subdivisions, hereinbefore described excepting the Borough of
Timaru.

Mount Cook Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Canterbury,
bounded towards the North-east by the summit of Two-Thumb
Range to the source of Forest Creek; thence by the Mount
Peel and the Levels Road Districts; hereinbefore described;
thence towards the South-east by Waimate County; thence
towards the South-west by Waitaki County; and thence
towards the North-west by Westland County to the place of
commencement.

WAITAKI COUNTY.

Waitaki Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Otago, bounded
towards the north by Waimate County; thence towards the
south-east by the ocean; thence towards the south and again
towards the south-east by the Borough of Oamaru; thence
towards the west by the Oamaru Stream; thence again towards the
south by Sections Nos. 11, 2, and 1, Block XIII., and Section No.
43, Block XII., Oamaru Survey District; thence towards the west
by Blocks VIII. and IV., Awamoko Surrey District, to the
north-eastern corner of section No. 58 of the latter block;
thence again towards the south, south-west, and again towards
the south by a road traversing Block IV. aforesaid, and Blocks
V. and VI., Awamoko Surrey District aforesaid; thence again
towards the west by sections Nos. 16, 4, 6, and 2, Block II.,
and sections Nos. 3 and 20, Block 111., Maruwenua Survey
District; thence again towards the north and west by section
No. 4 and Application No. 6928 of the last-mentioned block;
thence again towards the south-west by a road; and thence
again towards the west by section No. 9 of Block III. afore-
said and the eastern boundary-line of that section produced to
the place of commencement.

Weymouth Subdivision.

Bounded towards the north by Waimate County; thence
towards the south-east by the ocean; thence towards the south-
west by the Landon Stream to Block I, Papakaio Survey Dis-
trict; and thence towards the west by that block and Blocks
III. and VI., Papakaio Survey District aforesaid, and the eastern
boundary-line of the last-mentioned block produced to the
place of commencement.

Papakaio Subdivision.

Bounded towards the north by Waimate County; thence
towards the east by the Weymouth Subdivision, hereinbefore
described, and, Block II., Papakaio Survey District; thence
towards the south and west and again towards the south by
the Oamaru Survey District; thence again towards the west
by Blocks VIII. and IV., Awamoko Survey District, to the
north-eastern corner of Section No. 28 of the latter block;
thence again towards the south by a road traversing the last-
mentioned block; and thence again towards the west by Blocks
V. and II., Awamoko Survey District aforesaid, and the castern
boundary-line of the latter block produced to the place of com-
