A label consisting of the words “Capsuled Pills.” Beneath is the representation of one of the pills, upon which appear the words, letters, and symbol, “McK & R., Capsuled Pills.”

NOTICE is hereby given that Messrs. HESKETH AND RICHMOND, of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Solicitors, as Agents for Messrs. LYNCH AND MCDONALD, of Collins Street West, in the City of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, Solicitors, have applied, on behalf of Messrs. ADER, SEWARD, AND COMPANY, of Bordeaux, in France, Merchants, to register, under “The Trade Marks Act, 1866,” the trade marks of which the following is a description, viz. :
Description of Trade Marks.
No. 1 consists of a circle enclosed by a plain line on white ground, the said circle containing a smaller circle enclosed by a wreath representing a grape-vine in fruit; within the last-mentioned circle are the following words, placed one above the other: “Claret, Vergniaud, No. 0, Bordeaux, VD” (the VD conjoined).
No. 2 consists of a circle enclosed by a plain line on white ground, the said circle containing a smaller circle enclosed by a wreath representing a grape-vine in fruit; within the last-mentioned circle are the following words, placed one above the other: “Claret, Vergniaud, No. 1, Bordeaux, VD” (the VD conjoined).
No. 3 consists of a circle enclosed by a plain line on white ground, the said circle containing a smaller circle enclosed by a wreath representing a grape-vine in fruit; within the last-mentioned circle are the following words, placed one above the other: “Claret, Vergniaud, No. 2, Bordeaux, VD” (the VD conjoined).
No. 4 consists of a circle enclosed by a plain line on pale-pink ground, the said circle containing a smaller circle enclosed by a wreath representing a grape-vine in fruit; within the last-mentioned circle are the following words: “Claret, Vergniaud, Larose, No. 3, Bordeaux, VD” (the VD conjoined). All these words are placed one above the other, except the words “No. 3,” which are placed across the word “Larose.”
No. 5 consists of a circle enclosed by a plain line on pale-blue ground, the said circle containing a smaller circle enclosed by a wreath representing a grape-vine in fruit; within the last-mentioned circle are the following words: “Claret, Vergniaud, St. Julien, No. 4, Bordeaux, VD” (the VD conjoined). All these words are placed one above the other, except the words “No. 4,” which are placed across the word “St. Julien.”
No. 6 consists of a circle enclosed by a plain line on pale-blue ground, the said circle containing a smaller circle enclosed by a wreath representing a grape-vine in fruit; within the last-mentioned circle are the following words: “Claret, Vergniaud, Listrac, No. 4, Bordeaux, VD” (the VD conjoined). All these words are placed one above the other, except the words “No. 4,” which are placed across the word “Listrac.”

Bonuses on Colonial Industries.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following bonuses will be paid on articles produced in the Colony of New Zealand, as under :—
SILK.
A bonus of fifty per cent. on the value realized for the first thousand pounds’ (£1,000) worth of cocoons of the silkworm, or silkworms’ eggs, produced in the colony, to be paid on quantities of not less value than fifty pounds (£50) nor more than one hundred pounds (£100) produced by any one person.
MANGANEISEN AND MANGANESE-BRONZE.
A bonus of five hundred pounds (£500) will be given for the first two thousand five hundred pounds’ (£2,500) worth of manganese, and a similar bonus for a like amount of manganese-bronze, produced in the colony from New Zealand ores, and sold at a fair market price in a foreign market.
MARBLE.
A bonus of three hundred pounds (£300) will be given for the first fifteen hundred pounds’ (£1,500) worth of New Zealand marble exported from the colony, and sold in a foreign market at a price of not less than 9s. per cubic foot.
ANTIMONY.
A bonus of five hundred pounds (£500) will be given for the first 250 tons of antimony regulus produced in the colony from New Zealand ores, and sold at a fair market price in a foreign market.
Conditions.

Notice of intention to claim any of the above bonuses must be given in writing to the Colonial Secretary not later than the 31st December, 1883.

The claim must be made before the 30th June, 1884.

The first claimant of any bonus who proves to the satisfaction of the Government that he has fulfilled all the conditions to be the recipient of the bonus.

The other conditions as to quantity, priority, quality, and value to be fulfilled to the satisfaction of an officer appointed for the purpose by the Government.

WROUGHT-IRON.
A bonus of one thousand pounds (£1,000) will be given for the production, in New Zealand, by a direct process, of 200
