GARLAND WILLIAM WOON, Sheriff of the Wanganui
and Rangitikei District, hereby give notice that, under a
writ of fieri facias, duly issued out of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, Wellington District, at Wellington, at the suit of
the Bank of New Zealand, the above-named Plaintiff, I have
taken in execution, at the suit of the said Bank of New Zealand,
the Execution Creditor, the equity of redemption of the said
Defendant, William Craig, in (1) all that parcel of land contain-
ing 12,062 acres, being part of Maungaporau Block marked
3958, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate
of title, Volume xx., folio 79; (2) all that parcel of land being
other part of the said Maungaporau Block, containing 4,000
acres, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate
of title, Volume xx., folio 80; (3) all those pieces or parcels of
land containing 515 acres and 32 perches, being the Sections
Nos. 149, 150, 151, 152, and part of Section No. 169, on the
plan of the right bank of the Wanganui River, comprised in a
conveyance dated the 9th day of December, 1878, registered in
the Deeds Registry Office, Wellington, as No. 33465. And I
hereby give notice that I intend to cause the said lands to be
sold at the auction-rooms of Freeman Rayney Jackson, at
Wanganui, on Wednesday, the 11th day of April, 1883, at two
o'clock in the afternoon, unless the debt, interest, and costs
payable under the said writ shall have been previously satisfied.
The Solicitor for the Execution Creditor is Henry Samuel
Fitzherbert, of Wellington, agent for Heber Newton, of
Oamaru.

COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with the pro-
visions of "The District Railways Act, 1877," the above-
mentioned-the Thames Valley and Rotorua Railway Company
(Limited)-have caused the middle line and direction of the
railway proposed to be constructed under the said Act to be set
forth on a plan and described in a book of reference, showing
the lands required to be taken for the same, and the names of
the owners and occupiers of such lands, so far as they can be
ascertained; and copies of the said plan and book of reference
have been deposited at the under-mentioned public places in the
district within which the said railway is intended to be con-
structed, namely,-
The Post Office, Morrinsville;
The Resident Magistrate's Court, Hamilton;
The Resident Magistrate's Court, Cambridge; and at
The Public Works Office, Wellington.
Notice is also hereby given that the area it is proposed to
constitute a railway district for the purposes of the said Act
contains 548,000 acres or thereabouts, bounded as follows, that
is to say,-
Commencing at the north-west corner of Motumaho No. 2
Block; thence north-easterly along the northern and western
boundary of the said block and north-western boundary of the
Taukoro Block to the Piako River; thence southerly along the
western bank of the Piako River to its junction with the

Kuranui (southern portion) 1A to the north-east corner of the
Kokako Block; thence by the north-east boundary of the
Kokako Block to the south-east boundary of the said Kokako
Block; thence in a straight line to the north-east corner of
Block Tokoroa No. 1; thence by the easterly and south-easterly
boundary of the last-mentioned block to the southerly boundary
of the same block; thence by the southerly boundary of the
same block, 426 chains; thence by a line bearing S. 10° E., 146
chains; thence by a line bearing S. 85° W., 68 chains; thence by
a line bearing S. 13° E. to the north bank of the Waikato River;
thence westerly and northerly by the said bank of the Waikato
River to the south-west corner of the Waipa Block; thence by
the south-west boundary of the said Waipa Block to the south-
eastern corner of the said block; thence along the eastern
boundary of Blocks Waipa and Hinuwera No. 1 respectively
to the northernmost corner of Block Mangawara No. 2; thence
by a line bearing N. 29° W., 58 chains or thereabouts, to the
junction of the Mangawehea Stream with the Waitoa River;
thence along the said Mangawehea Stream to the north-east
boundary of the Puketutu Block; thence north-west by the
said boundary of the Puketutu Block to the Mangapapa
Stream; thence north-westerly by a straight line to the
northernmost point of Te Tapui Block; thence in a straight
line to the south-east corner of Block Kiwitahi 1E; thence by
the southerly boundary of the said Block Kiwitahi 1E to Block
Kiwitahi 2; thence by the southern boundary of the said Block
Kiwitahi 2 to the boundary between Te Konehu and Te Tapui
Blocks; thence north-west by a straight line to the southern-
most point of Block Kiwitahi 3B; thence by the south-west
boundaries of the said Block Kiwitahi 3B and Block Kiwitahi
3c to Trig. 705; thence by the westerly boundary of Block
Tahuroa No. 2 to the Kuranui Block; thence westerly by the
south-east boundary of the Kuranui Block to the south-west
boundary of the said Kuranui Block; thence by the last-
mentioned boundary to the Waitakaruru Stream; thence north-
easterly by the last-mentioned stream to the westerly boundary
of Block Motomaho 2; thence by the last-mentioned boundary
to the starting-point.
Notice is also hereby given that the said Company have
transmitted, or will before the twentieth day of March, 1883,
transmit, to the Piako and Tauranga County Councils a notice
containing, or accompanied by, the following particulars:-
(1.) A copy of the plan and book of reference, and an
estimate of the cost of the proposed railway and of the
equipment thereof;
(2.) A statement of the maximum rate of tolls and charges
for the carriage of animals, goods, merchandise, and
passengers proposed to be charged on such railway;
(3.) A statement of the maximum rent or charge to be
made for the storage of goods, produce, or merchandise;
(4.) A statement of the minimum number of trains to be
run daily;
(5.) A specification of the rate it is proposed to levy in
respect of the various classes of land hereinafter
mentioned.
Notice is also hereby given that the manner in which it is
proposed the said lands in such districts shall be classified for
the purposes of the said Act shall be as follows:--

3,216; the Township of Morrinsville; 5,664 acres of Kuranui,

au-o-Waikato, No. 759; 123 acres, 391 acres, and 45 acres of
