NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing
between CARL LEOPOLD ANDERSON and GUSTOF EDWARD
JANSON, in the business of Grocers, in the City of Wellington,
and at Sanson, Manawatu, under the style of "Anderson and
Janson," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st
instant. The business of the late copartnership in the City of
Wellington will be carried on henceforward by Gustof Edward
Janson, upon his sole account, in his own name; and all debts
owing to and by the late firm in respect of the said business are
to be respectively paid to and by him. The business of the late
copartnership in Sanson will be carried on henceforward by
the said Carl Leopold Anderson, upon his sole account, in his
own name; and all debts owing to and by the late firm in respect
of the said business are to be respectively paid to and by him.

APPOINTED.

NOTICE.—CHARLES MCNAMARA, of No. 10, South Frederick
Street, Dublin, in Ireland, Solicitor, has been appointed
this day, by his Honour Mr. Justice Johnston, a Commissioner
of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, in that part of the
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland called Ireland,
under "The Commissioners of the Supreme Court Act, 1875,"
for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths,
affidavits, and affirmations as in the said Act mentioned.

HAWKE'S BAY MEAT EXPORT COMPANY
(LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of the Shareholders of the Hawke's Bay Meat
Export Company (Limited), held in the offices of the Hawke's
Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society, in Tennyson Street,
Napier, on the 9th day of February instant, the following special
resolution was passed: "That the Hawke's Bay Meat Export
Company (Limited) be forthwith voluntarily wound up, and
that such winding-up be in accordance with the terms named
in Messrs. W. Nelson and J. N. Williams's letter of the 23rd
January, 1883; and that the present Directors of the Company
be hereby authorized to act as Liquidators for the Company in
winding up its affairs." And that the said resolution was con-
firmed at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting, of which
notice was duly given, which last-mentioned extraordinary
general meeting was held at the aforesaid offices of the Hawke's
Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society, on Monday, the 26th
day of February, 1883.

WANGAEHU HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

NOTICE OF STOPPAGE AND EXCHANGE OF ROADS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wangaehu Highway Board
propose closing a portion of the old No. 3 Line, through
Major Nixon's property, as not being required for traffic, and
taking instead thereof a road to connect Eastown with the
present No. 3 Line, from the above-named owner, in exchange
for the portion of road so proposed to be closed. A plan
showing the road proposed to be stopped, and that proposed to
