Approving and Appointing Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose
vested by "The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882,"
I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do hereby approve
and appoint the under-mentioned warehouse, viz.,—
Port of Poverty Bay.
Portion of the cellar of a concrete building, with stone foun-
dation and corrugated-iron roof, situate on Section No. 28,
Customhouse Street, Town of Gisborne, having entrance from
Customhouse Street, to be known as
GRAHAM'S BOND,
—to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh
day of February, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-three.

Notice to Imprestees under "The Public Revenues Act, 1878."
Treasury,
Wellington, 28th February, 1883.
OFFICERS holding advances of public money are hereby
required to pay to the Public Account, at the nearest branch
of the Bank of New Zealand, the total unexpended balances in
their hands on or before Saturday, the 31st March proximo,
so as to close absolutely all Advance Accounts on that date,
and forthwith to transmit the Bank receipt for such repay-
ments to the Treasury at Wellington.
As respects disbursements which officers may require to make
during the week following the close of the financial year, re-
quisitions for the amount required are to be made in such time
as to enable them to reach Wellington not later than the 24th
March, so that the funds requisite may be placed at the disposal
of the officer on the 2nd April.

CHARLES PEARS HAYWARD, of the City of Lincoln, in
England, Manufacturing Chemist and Engineer, has deposited
at this office a specification of the said invention; and
I have appointed Friday, the 11th day of May next, at
10 o'clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said ap-
plication and all objections thereto; and I require all persons
having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent
to leave, on or before the 26th day of April next, at this office,
particulars in writing of their objections to the said applica-
tion, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.

IN exercise of the powers and authorities vested in them by
"The Education Reserves Act, 1877," the School Commis-
sioners for the Otago Provincial District have, by resolution
dated the 31st October, 1882, appropriated and set apart
the several parcels of land hereinafter respectively described as
sites for public schools.

the Colony of New Zealand, situate in the Town of Oamaru,
being Section No. 6, Block LXXVII., on the map of the said
town, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less.

towards the North-east by Section No. 7, 250 links; towards
the South-east by Greta street, 100 links; and towards the
South-west by Section No. 5, 250 links.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago, in
