north-western boundary, and at a point about 10 chains dis-
tant from the commencing point.

Also portion containing 11 acres and 22 perches. Commene-
ing on the north-western boundary, at a distance of about 76
chains from the north-eastern angle; and thence continuing
southerly and south-easterly generally for a distance of 11150
links or thereabouts to the point of its intersection by the
south-western boundary, and at a point on the same about 90
chains from its south-eastern angle: be all the aforesaid link-
ages more or less.

HIKUTAWATAWA BLOCK, No. 1817.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement
4 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, and being a road-line
100 links wide traversing the eastern portion of the Hikutawa-
tawa Block, No. 1817, in the Coromandel District. Com-
mencing on the north-eastern boundary at a point 1200 links
distant from Whangapoua Harbour; and thence continuing
south-westerly generally to the place of its intersection by
south-eastern boundary a distance of 4400 links or there-
abouts, and at a distance of 5100 links from the Whangapoua
Harbour aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

KAEAEA BLOCK, No. 3015.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement
3 roods 8 perches, more or less, and being a road-line 100 links
wide traversing the eastern portion of the Kaeaea Block,
No. 3015, in the Coromandel District. Commencing at a
point on the south-eastern boundary of the above-named block
at a distance of about 1640 links from the southernmost angle
of the same; and thence continuing north-easterly for a distance
of 800 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the Horonga-
herehere Creek, and at a distance of about 950 links from the
mouth of that creek: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

MAUNGATAPU BLOCK, NO. 77.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement
32 perches, more or less, and being a road-line 100 links wide
lying within the Maungatapu Block, No. 77, in the Coromandel
District. Commencing on the southern boundary, at its
junction with the Waipipi Creek; and thence continuing
northerly and easterly for a distance of 200 links or there-
abouts within the aforesaid block: be all the aforesaid link-
ages more or less.

Date of warrant, 7th November, 1881.

TE PUNGAPUNGA BLOCK No. 3, No. 3873B.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement
6 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, and being a road 100
links wide traversing the eastern portion of Te Pungapunga
No. 3 Block, No. 3873B. Commencing at the mouth of the
Waipipi Stream; and thence continuing southerly generally for
a distance of about 6350 links to a point on Wangapoua Har-
bour about 1700 links from the mouth of the Kaipapaka
Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Date of warrant, 3rd June, 1880.

TAKOTOHAU BLOCK, No. 702, WHANGAREI DISTRICT.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasure-
ment 3 acres and 38 perches, more or less, being a road-line 100
links wide traversing the Takotohau Block, No. 702. Com-
mencing on the western boundary of the above-named block at
a distance of 800 links from the Otaika River; and thence
running generally south-westerly and northerly to the river
aforesaid at its south-western angle for a distance of 3242 links
or thereabouts.

Date of warrant, 10th June, 1880.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement
1 acre and 36 perches, more or less, situated in the Manurewa
Block No. 1, No. 4410A, in the Kawakawa Survey Dis-
trict, and being a road-line 100 links wide, commencing on
the western boundary of the block at a distance of 917-6 links
from its north-western angle. Bounded towards the North-
east by lines, 215, 157, 100, and 829 links respectively;
towards the South-east by a line, 102-5 links; towards the
South-west by lines, 840, 100, 169, and 44 links respectively;
and towards the West by a line, 188-7 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No.
2313, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 27th September, 1881.

this nineteenth day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-three.

Notice of Intention to exchange Land at Blenheim.

WHEREAS by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," it is,
amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may
declare his intention to make, change, exchange, or alter the
dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in Her
Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in
Class II. of the Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be
granted or not; and, in the case of any reserves made under the
authority of section one hundred and forty-four of "The Land
Act, 1877," if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expe-
dient to change the purpose of such reserves or any part thereof
from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set
apart to any other purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the
Governor, be expedient to exchange any of the land comprised
in such reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to
one or more purposes named in the said Class II., the Governor
may, by notice in the Gazette, declare his intention to make
such change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be, and
in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same
is intended to be so made:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
"The Public Reserves Act, 1881," aforesaid, declare my inten-
tion to exchange the land described in the first column of the
said Schedule hereto for the land described in the second column
of the said Schedule.
