THE following by-law, made by the Rodney County
Council, under "The Road Boards Act, 1882," is pub-
lished in accordance with "The Counties Act 1876 Amend-
ment Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER.
SPECIAL order passed by the Rodney County Council on
Wednesday, the 28th November, 1883, as follows:—
Resolved, That from and after the 1st January, 1884, the
boundaries of Omaha Road District be altered by taking in
a portion of the Parish of Pakiri, in accordance with plan
now lying at this office for inspection.
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order was made
by the Rodney County Council, at a duly-constituted meet-
ing, on Wednesday, the 28th November, 1883.

THE OMAHA ROAD DISTRICT.
Amended Boundaries.
ALL that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North-east by the sea from the south-eastern
boundary of the Arai Road District to Cape Rodney; towards
the South-east by the sea from Cape Rodney to the North
Head at the entrance to the Whangateau Inlet; towards the
South by the waters of the Whangateau Inlet aforesaid to
the south-western boundary of Dacre's Claim; thence by
part of the south-western boundary of Dacre's Claim afore-
said to the southern boundary of Lot No. 68 of the Parish
of Omaha; thence by the southern boundary of that lot, the
southern and part of the western boundary of Lot No. 67,
the crossing of a road 100 links wide, the southern and part
of the western boundary of Allotment No. 104, the southern
boundary of Allotment No. 110, and the road which forms
the south-eastern and southern boundary of Lot No. 111, all
of the Parish of Omaha aforesaid, to the line which forms
the western boundary of that parish; thence southerly by
the line aforesaid to a point on the same being the intersec-
tion by the production in a south-easterly direction of the
north-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 78 of the Parish
of Pakiri; thence north-westerly by the line in continuance
to the eastern angle of that lot; and thence by the south-
eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 78 and 77 to the
southernmost angle of the last-named lot; towards the
South-west by the south-western and part of the north-
western boundary of Allotment No. 77 last named, the
south-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 75, 73, 76, 13,
and 15, the eastern boundary of Allotment No. 18, the south-
eastern and south-western boundaries of Allotment No. 19
to the Whangaripo River, and by that river to the western
boundary of Allotment No. 57, all of the Parish of Pakiri
aforesaid; thence by the western boundary of the last-
named allotment to its north-western angle; and thence by
a right line to the south-western angle of Allotment No. 64
of the Parish of Arai; and towards the North-west by part
of the south-eastern boundary of the Parish of Arai to the
place of commencement.

Buller County Council, is published in accordance
with "The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882."

BY-LAW NO. 3.—PIGS.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in them, under "The
Counties Act, 1876," and its amendments, the Council of the
Buller County ordain as follows:—
I. No person shall allow any pig or pigs to run at large
within any part of the Buller County.
