I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Anatori Gold-Mining Company (Limited) as a
Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1872."
- The name of the company is to be the Anatori Gold-
Mining Company (Limited). - The place of operations is at West Wanganui, in the
Provincial District of Nelson. - The registered office of the company will be situated at
Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington. - The nominal capital of the company is twenty thousand
pounds, in twenty thousand shares of one pound each, of
which the sum of ten thousand pounds, or ten shillings per
share, is agreed to be considered as paid up. - The number of shares subscribed for is twenty thousand.
- The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is nil.
- The name of the Manager is Louis Davies.
Total amount of subscribed capital paid up: £26,162 10s.

THE CLIFTONVALE IMPROVEMENT COMPANY
(LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members
of the above-named company, duly convened and held
at the Schoolhouse, Clifton, on Monday, the 10th day of
December, 1883, the following extraordinary resolution was
duly passed :--
"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this
meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up
the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up
voluntarily."
And at the same meeting JAMES BROWN, of Invercargill,
Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of
such winding-up.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY.
I HEREBY give notice that, in pursuance of the powers
granted by "The Public Works Act, 1882," the South-
land County Council, by resolution passed on the 28th day
of November, 1883, declared the following road to be a
County Road within the meaning of the said Act, namely,
the Mill Road from the Waihopai River to the Dacre Road.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY.
I HEREBY give notice that, in pursuance of the powers
granted by "The Public Works Act, 1882," the South-
land County Council, by resolution passed on the 12th day of
October, 1883, declared the following roads to be County
Roads within the meaning of the said Act, namely:-
- Road commencing from the Woodlands to Grove Bush
Road, near Trig. Station H, and running in a northerly direc-
tion through Mabel Bush to road along north boundary of
Section 14, Block IV., Mabel Survey District. - Road running from Trig. Station N, near Mataura, past
Trig. Station R, to join main road near Trig. Station W,
Lyndhurst Survey District.
