SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement
1 acre and 5 perches, being portion of Rural Section No. 5608,
commencing at the southernmost corner of Section No. 2436.
Boundedβ€”North-easterly by the south-west boundary of Sec-
tion No. 2436 aforesaid and a line in production of the said
boundary a distance of 504 links; North-westerly by lines, 2490
links and 1168 links respectively, to the intersection with Little
River Railway Reserve; South-westerly by said reserve, 30
links; South-easterly by lines, 1148 and 2472 links respec-
tively; South-westerly by a line, 490 links; South-easterly
by a public road, 25 links, to commencing point.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 1 rood and 29 perches, being portion of Rural Section No.
5608, commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary
of Lake Road 1238 links southward from the intersection of
the northern boundary of Rural Section No. 5628 (produced)
with the east side of Lake Road. Bounded as follows: North-
westerly by a line, 1216 links; North-easterly by a line, 31
links; South-easterly by a line, 1233 links; South-westerly
by Lake Road, 25 links, to commencing point.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 1 acre and 29 perches, being portion of Rural Section
No. 8174, commencing at the westernmost corner of Rural Sec-
tion No. 5609. Bounded as follows: North-easterly by the
south-western boundary of Rural Section No. 5609 and a line,
4732 links; South-easterly by a public road, 29 links; South-
westerly by a line, 4717 links; North-easterly by a public
links.

The above areas and linkages being either more or less,
and the several parcels of land being situate in the Survey
District of Halswell, Provincial District of Canterbury, and
are more particularly delineated upon the plan attached to
the memorial above referred to.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this seventh day of December, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
three.

Land taken for a Road in Kaitangata Road District, Pro-
vincial District of Otago.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under "The Public Works
Act, 1882," for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a
road in the Kaitangata Road District, Provincial District of
Otago:

And whereas the Kaitangata Road Board has laid before the
Governor the memorial and map mentioned in, and signed
and certified as required by, the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pur-
suance of the powers and authorities in me vested by section
eleven of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a
road; and that, from and after the day of the date hereof,
the land so described shall become absolutely vested in fee-
simple in Her Majesty, discharged from all mortgages,
charges, claims, estates, or interests of what kind soever, for
use as a road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 2 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less, being portions
of Sections Nos. 2 and 3, Block I., North Molyneux Survey
District, Provincial District of Otago, commencing at a point
857 links distant from the north-east corner of Section No. 3
aforesaid. Bounded as follows: North-easterly by lines, 656,
1425, 460, and 166 links respectively; South-westerly by lines,
602, 1473, and 616 links respectively; North-westerly by a
line, 105 links, to commencing point: be all the above areas
and linkages either more or less; as the same is more parti-

cularly delineated upon the plan attached to the memorial
above referred to.

Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most

Land in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule
hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 10 perches,
more or less, situated in the Omapere Survey District, and
being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the Umuhapuku
Block, No. 880. Commencing at a point on the north-western
boundary of the Umuhapuku Block, No. 880, at a distance of
817 links or thereabouts from its northernmost angle, being
the middle of the road above referred to; and thence con-
tinuing generally south-easterly and north-easterly for a
distance of 6820 links or thereabouts to the north-eastern
angle of the Umuhapuku Block aforesaid: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on
Plan No. 3218, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.
Date of Governor's warrant, 23rd April, 1883.

do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road, 100 links wide, the middle of which com-
mences at a point marked A on the southern boundary of
Section No. 819 of the Whareama Registration District,
situate in Block XIII., Aohanga Survey District, said point
being distant 2400 links or thereabouts from south-east angle
of Section No. 819 on a bearing of 301Β° 1', and continues
generally in a northerly direction through Sections Nos. 819
and 818 to a point marked B on nothern boundary of Section
No. 818, and distant 2575 links or thereabouts from the
north-west angle of said section; as the same is more parti-
