Gold-Mining Lease cancelled.

Wellington, 4th December, 1883.

I T is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has
been pleased to pronounce the under-mentioned gold-
mining lease cancelled, and that the ground is now open for
application as if no lease of the said ground had ever been
applied for:---
Robert Sutherland; 6 acres 3 roods 23 perches, Section
118, Block V., District of Waitahuna East. No. 995c.

N OTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned ap-
plications for gold-mining leases have been refused,
and the ground is now open to persons holding miners' rights
or business licenses as if a lease of the said ground had not
been applied for, viz. :--
Benjamin Gough, for the Grey Valley Gold-Mining Com-
pany; dated 10th September, 1883; 5 acres, situated at
Brian Boru Gully, Nelson Creek.

John Craig, for Craig and Company; dated 11th September,
1883; 7 acres, situated at Brian Boru Gully, about 40 chains,
with its junction with German Gully, adjoining Harrison's
Claim, Grey District.
