containing 163 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, and being the property of one George Burnett; thence by the north-eastern boundary of that portion of the subdivision of Mair’s grant aforesaid, and also the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of another portion of the subdivision of Mair’s grant before mentioned containing 207 acres, more or less, and being the property of one John Gordon, to the first intersection of the latter boundary by the Otangarei Stream aforesaid nearest to its south-eastern extremity; and thence by the middle of the Otangarei Stream aforesaid to its confluence with the Waitaua River, and by the latter river to the northern boundary of the Whangarei Town District; towards the South generally by the northern and north-western boundaries of the Whangarei Town District aforesaid to the easternmost corner of Section No. 77, Whauwhau Block, Purua Survey District; thence again towards the South and South-west by the southern and south-western boundary-lines of that block; thence towards the North-west and again towards the North by the north-western and northern boundary-lines of the Whauwhau Block aforesaid; and thence towards the West by part of the western boundary-line of Mair’s grant, the western boundary-lines of the Kamo Block and of the land known as “Meldrum’s Claim,” to the place of commencement.

WHAREORA ROAD DISTRICT.

Amended Boundaries.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded towards the North-east by the north-eastern boundary of the Parish of Parahaki, from the northernmost corner of Section No. 59 to the summit of the Whanui Mountain; thence towards the South by the southern boundary-line of the Parish of Parahaki aforesaid to the north-western corner of Section No. 208 of the Parish of Owhiwa, Whangarei Survey District; thence towards the South-east by the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 208 aforesaid; thence across a road; and again towards the South by the southern boundary-line of Section No. 209 of the parish last mentioned; thence across another road to the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 7 of the Parish of Wariara aforesaid; thence again towards the South-east by the south-eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section and the south-eastern boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 6, 5, 4, and 3, Parish of Wariara aforesaid; thence again towards the North-east and South-east by the eastern and southern boundary-lines of Dent’s claim to Whangarei Harbour; towards the South-west and West by the Whangarei River and the Katea or Waitaua River to the south-western corner of Section No. 19 of the Parish of Parahaki; and towards the north-west by the southern boundary of Section No. 19 aforesaid, the crossing of a road 100 links wide, the southern and part of the eastern boundary of Section No. 20, the southern boundary of Section No. 31, the crossing of a road 100 links wide, part of the south-western, the southern, and part of the eastern boundary of Section No. 30, the crossing of a road of width aforesaid, the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 38 and 39, and the southern boundary of the latter section produced to the middle of the road which forms its eastern boundary; thence by the middle of the road aforesaid to the line which forms the north-western boundary of Section No. 59, all of the Parish of Parahaki; and thence by that line to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned section, the place of commencement.
