Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 2 perches,
more or less, situated in the Waihou Survey District, and
being a drain 25 links wide traversing a portion of the
Opatito Block No. 3774. Commencing at a point on the south-
western side of the Puke-Paeroa Road at a distance of 26
chains or thereabouts from the northern boundary of Te
Arero-o-Huatata Block No. 1; and thence continuing
generally westerly for a distance of 2050 links or thereabouts
to the north-eastern boundary of the Huepakari No. 2 Block
at a distance of 300 links or thereabouts from the north-
western angle of the latter block: be all the aforesaid link-
ages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No.
2974, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.
Date of warrant, 27th April, 1882.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 26 perches,
more or less, situated in the Waihou Survey District, and
being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the Okorako
Block No. 4190. Commencing at a point on the southern
boundary of the Okorako Block aforesaid 867.7 links or
thereabouts distant from the Waihou River, and being the
middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing
north-westerly for a distance of 900 links or thereabouts to
the Waihou River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less;
as the same is delineated on Plan No. 2974, deposited in the
Survey Office, at Auckland.
Date of warrant, 27th April, 1882.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 16
perches, more or less, situated in the Waihou Survey Dis-
trict, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the
Rau-o-te-Huia Block No. 3446. Commencing at a point on
the north-western boundary of the Rau-o-te-Huia Block afore-
said 867-7 links or thereabouts distant from the Waihou River,
and being the middle of the road above referred to; and
thence continuing south-easterly for a distance of 1850 links
or thereabouts to a point on the southern boundary of the
aforesaid block 350 links or thereabouts distant from the
north-western angle of the Opatito Elock: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan
No. 2974, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.
Date of warrant, 27th April, 1882.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 16
perches, more or less, situated in the Waihou Survey Dis-
trict, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the
Opatito Block No. 3774. Commencing at a point on the
northern boundary of the Opatito Block at a distance of
850 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, and
being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
continuing south-easterly for a distance of 5850 links or there-
abouts to the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block,
and at a point 110 links or thereabouts distant from the
north-western angle of Te Arero-o-Huatata Block No. 1,
No. 3731: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 2974, de-
posited in the Survey Office, at Auckland; be all the afore-
said linkages more or less.
Date of warrant, 27th April, 1882.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 19 perches, more or less,
situated in the Waihou Survey District, and being a portion
of a road-line 100 links wide traversing the westernmost
corner of Te Arero-o-Huatata Block No. 2, No. 3731A.
Commencing on the western boundary of the aforesaid block
at a point 110 links or thereabouts distant from the north-
western angle of Te Arero-o-Huatata Block No. 1, and being
the middle of the road above referred to; and thence con-
tinuing south-easterly for a distance of 120 links or there-
abouts to the northern boundary of Te Arero-o-Huatata No.
1 Block aforesaid, and at a point on the same 75 links or
thereabouts distant from the north-western angle of the last-
mentioned block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less;
as the same is delineated on Plan No. 2974, deposited in the
Survey Office, at Auckland.
Date of warrant, 27th April, 1882.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 29 perches,
more or less, situated in the Waihou Survey District, and
being a road-line 100 links wide traversing Te Arero-o-Huatata
Block No. 1, No. 3731. Commencing on the north-western
boundary of the above-mentioned block at a distance of 75
links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, and being
the middle of the road above referred to; and thence con-
tinuing south-easterly for a distance of 2130 links or there-
abouts to the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block,
and at a point on the same 500 links or thereabouts distant
from its south-eastern angle: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 2974,
deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule
hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road, 100 links wide, the middle of which com-
mences at a peg marked A (on plan S.O. 725-39), which
point is distant 34 chains or thereabouts from the south-east
angle of Pukehou No. 5K, and proceeds thence generally in
a north and north-easterly direction through the following
Native blocks, viz. Pukehou Nos. 5K, 5L, 54, 4, 4B, 4C, 4D,
and 4; Ohau No. 3; Muhunoa Nos. 1 and 3; Horowhenua,
Manawatu-Kukutauaki No. 7D; and Aratangata and Oturoa
Blocks, until it joins the eastern boundary of Block No. 6,
granted to the children of T. U. Cook, at a point distant
1475 links or thereabouts from its south-east angle. Except-
ing always that portion of said road going through Pukehou
No. 5A and Pukehou No. 4; and the whole of the Manawatu-
Kukutauaki No. 4A and Manawatu-Kukutauaki No. 7D,
tinted pink; and the whole of said road going through Ohau
No. 3 (from D to E), and through Muhunoa No. 3 (from F to
G): as the same is further shown on the plan deposited in
the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington, numbered S.O.
725-39.
