Amalgamating Licensing Districts.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred upon me by section three of "The Licensing Act
Amendment Act, 1882," I, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Licensing
Districts of Greymouth East, Greymouth Central, and Grey-
mouth West shall be amalgamated under the name of the Grey-
mouth Licensing District, as from the second day of February,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three; and that, as from
the said date, the said Licensing Districts of Greymouth East,
Greymouth Central, and Greymouth West shall be abolished.

amalgamated under the name of the Lawrence Licensing Dis-
trict, as from the second day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-three; and that, as from the said date, the
said Licensing Districts of Lawrence East and Lawrence Central
shall be abolished.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in
Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this twenty-ninth day of January, in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
three.
