in the Kahiti, to remove the said restrictions on the aliena-

in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honour-
able Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
lington, this thirty-first day of October, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-three.

containing two acres and seventeen perches, more or less,
and being the Sections numbers twenty-four and twenty-five

is vested in certain aboriginal natives of New Zea-
land, subject to certain restrictions on the alienation of such
land, and application has been made for the removal of such
restrictions:

ment one thousand nine hundred and ten acres, more or
less, situate in the District of Wairarapa, and being the
block of land called or known by the name of "Maramamau
West," and numbered 35N.

Public Cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Ceme-
teries Act, 1882," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
the several persons whose names are specified in the first
column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for
the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in
the second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

William Barber. All those parcels of land in the Pro-

James Matthews. Colony of New Zealand, containing by
George Johnson. admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 20 perches,
Heywood Crispe. more or less, situated in the Parish of
Waiuku East, in the County of Eden,
and being Allotment No. 8 of subdivision
of Allotment No. 98 of the Parish of
Waiuku East: Eastern portion of
Allotment No. 8 of subdivision of Allot-
ment No. 98, containing 3 acres 1 rood
32 perches; bounded towards the North-
east by a road 100 links wide, 685 links;
towards the South-east by the eastern
portion of original Allotment No. 98,
910 links; towards the South and South-
west by the Mauku River; and towards
the North-west by Allotment No. 7 of
subdivision aforesaid, 50 links. Western
portion of Allotment No. 8 of subdivision
of Allotment No. 98, containing 3 acres
3 roods 28 perches; bounded towards
the East and North by the Mauku River;
towards the South-east by Allotment
No. 10 of the Parish of Puni, 168 links;
towards the South-west by Allotment
No. 9 of said subdivision and the abuttal
of a road, 985 links; and towards the
North-west by Allotments Nos. 6 and 7
of subdivision aforesaid, 980 links.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirteenth day of November, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-three.

Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in
the second column of the said Schedule.
