GAZETTE

NATIVE LAND COURT.
GISBORNE DISTRICT
IN the matter of parcels of land situate in the said district severally known by the names following viz.:
Whataupoko No. 3,
Matawhero No. 1,
Matawhero B,
Pakake a Whirikoka,
Makauri.
Whereas at various sittings of the Native Land Court heretofore had the said Court assumed to deal
by way of Order and Decree for subdivision with the several lands aforesaid, the said lands being at the time
held by Natives as joint tenants under Crown grant.
And whereas at each of such sittings opposition was made at the time of hearing to such Order and
Decrees: And whereas since the passing of "The Native Lands Act Amendment Act, 1882," application
has been made by parties interested in the several lands aforesaid, that the matter of the respective
subdivisions thereof be reheard.
Now notice is hereby given that the matter of the subdivision of each of the said parcels of land will
be reheard at a sitting of the Native Land Court to be holden at Gisborne in the said district, on Tuesday,
the 20th day of February, 1883, when all persons claiming to be interested in the said several lands and in
the subdivision thereof, and desiring to be heard are notified to attend.
