THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership between the
undersigned ELLEN JANE WARNER, WILLIAM CLARK-
SON, and TOM WATERS BOUNDY, as Drapers, Clothiers,
Milliners, and Dressmakers in the City of Nelson, under the
firm of "Warner, Clarkson, and Co.," was on the ninth day
of October, 1883, dissolved by mutual consent; and that the
business will be carried on by the said ELLEN JANE WARNER,
on her separate account; and that the said Ellen Jane
Warner will pay and receive all debts owing by and to the
said partnership in the regular course of trade.
Witness our hands, this tenth day of October, 1883.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
existing between the undersigned HORACE BASTINGS,
RICHARD HENRY LEARY, and WILLIAM CONYERS, carrying
on business as Quarry Proprietors at the Greenhills Stone
Quarries, near Invercargill, under the style of "W. Conyers
and Co.," has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. All
debts due to and by the said firm will be received and paid
respectively by the said William Conyers, by whom the said
business will be henceforth carried on.
Dated at Invercargill, this eighteenth day of September,
1883.

UPPER MAHURANGI ROAD DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that, under the provisions of
"The Public Works Act, 1882," it is the intention of
the Upper Mahurangi Road Board to take land for a road,
1 chain wide, through the following properties, viz. :-
Lots 92, 93, 57, 94, 100, 138, 174, 185, 184, and 183, all in
the Parish of Mahurangi.
Plans showing line of proposed road are open for inspec-
tion at this office.
The works intended to be carried out are forming, bridging,
&c.
All persons affected by the said road are hereby called
upon and required to set forth in writing any well-grounded
objections to the execution of such works or to the taking
of such land, and to send such writing within forty days
from the first publication of this notice to this office.

A GENERAL Meeting of Shareholders of the above com-
pany will be held at Richard's Hotel, Bannockburn,
in Vincent County, on Thursday, the 22nd day of November,
1883, at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m.
Business: To consider account showing the manner in
which the winding-up of the above company has been con-
ducted, and the property of the company disposed of.

Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and Licentiate
of the King and Queen's College of Physicians in Ireland,
now residing at Dunedin, hereby give you notice that it is
my intention to apply to you on the 20th day of November,
1883, to be registered in terms of "The Medical Practitioners
Registration Act, 1869," and that I have deposited my diplo-
mas in your office for public inspection.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.-The subscription is at the rate of Β£2
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should
be made payable.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post-office orders are issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
