All the above allotments shall be sold on deferred
payments at £8 per acre.

WHEREAS by the twenty-first section of "The
Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," it is
enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the
terms and conditions upon which the lands comprised
in any village settlement shall be disposed of, and
the mode of payment for the same: And whereas
His Excellency the Administrator of the Government
of the Colony of New Zealand has, by Proclama-
tion in the New Zealand Gazette, bearing date this
fourteenth day of November, set apart the lands
enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale as a
village settlement :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and au-
thorities conferred upon him by the hereinbefore in
part recited Act, and by and with the advice of the
Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand,
doth hereby fix the following terms and conditions
upon which the said village settlement shall be dis-
posed of, and the mode of payment for the same, that
is to say,—

The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto
shall be disposed of as small-farm allotments upon
deferred payments. -
The day upon which the lands shall be open for
application shall be Monday, the eighth day of
January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
three, at the Land Office, Dunedin. -
The sections shall be subject to the provisions
relating to suburban lands of Part III. of "The Land
Act, 1877," and to the provisions of section nine of
"The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879." -
No person shall be allowed to acquire more than
one section. -
The price stated in the Schedule hereto shall
be the price at which the lands shall be open for
application. -
If there should be more than one application
for any allotment, the right to occupy the same shall
be determined by lot amongst the applicants. -
Each applicant will be required to make the
declaration prescribed by section sixty-two of "The
Land Act, 1877," and shall at the time of application
deposit with the Receiver of Land Revenue for the
Otago Land District one-tenth of the price of the
allotment. Such payment shall be deemed to be a
discharge of the license-fee due on the first day of
July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three. -
The purchaser of any lands described in the
Schedule hereto, upon the payment, and also the
fulfilment of the terms and conditions prescribed by
"The Land Act, 1877," and "The Land Act 1877
Amendment Act, 1879," relating to land on deferred
payments, will be entitled to his Crown grant, to be
issued in the usual way upon payment of the fees
prescribed by law.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and au-
thorities vested in him by "The Public Domains
Act, 1881," His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the colony, by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby
revoke a certain Order in Council dated the seventh
day of December, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty, making delegation of certain powers in man-
ner as therein appears, and doth, with the like
advice and consent, by this present order, delegate,
but only with respect to the piece or parcel of land
described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers con-
ferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under
or conferred by sections five and twelve thereof,
to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known
as the Tauranga Public Domain Board, viz.,—
GEORGE BENTHAM MORRIS,
THOMAS TUNKS,
RICHARD HENRY FARRER,
JAMES WEIR GRAY,
JOSEPH FOSTER BUDDLE, and
The MAYOR of the BOROUGH OF TAURANGA
(herein referred to as "the Board"), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of
business on the first Monday in each month, at seven
o'clock p.m., at the office of the Chairman, or at
such other time or place as may from time to time
be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be
held on Monday, the fourth day of December, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-two. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chair-
man or by any two members of the Board, provided
that two days' notice of such meeting be given to
each member, specifying the business to be transacted
at such special meeting, and no other business than
that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.
