NOTICE is hereby given that Messrs. G. A. STRIKE
AND COMPANY, of Lorne Street, in the City of
Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, Aerated
Water and Cordial Manufacturers, have applied to
register, under "The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the
trade mark of which the following is a description:—
Description of Trade Mark.
The words "G. A. Strike & Co." on the bottles,
kegs, &c., containing aërated waters and cordials.
Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such
Trade Mark shall apply.

Amendment to Rules under "Election Petitions Act,
1880."

THE following amendment to rules made under
"The Election Petitions Act, 1880," is pub-
lished for general information at the request of his
Honor the Chief Justice.
THOMAS DICK.
RULE UNDER SECTION 14 OF "THE ELECTION
PETITIONS ACT, 1880."
In pursuance of the provisions of "The Election
Petitions Act, 1880," it is ordered by us, the Chief
Justice and two other of the Judges of the Supreme
Court, as follows :—
Rule 37 of the general rules under the said Act,
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 30th
December, 1881, is hereby revoked, and the following
rule is substituted in lieu thereof, and is to be read
with and form part of the said general rules:—
"Before the day fixed for the trial of any petition,
the Registrar at Wellington shall transmit the original
petition, and all documents, instruments, and pro-
ceedings relating thereto, to the Registrar."
