suance and exercise of the power and authority vested
in me by the above-named Act, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is set apart for sale on deferred payments;
and that Tuesday, the seventh day of March, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-two, shall be the
day on which the said land shall be open for appli-
cation at the Land Office at Dunedin, in allotments
as surveyed and marked on the selection map in that
office.

And, further, in pursuance of the fifth section of
"The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," I do
hereby fix the price at which the land so described
shall be sold to be the price set opposite each allot-
ment in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS it has been made to appear that cer-
tain things required done by "The
Rating Act, 1876," in connection with the prepara-
tion and revision of the valuation roll of the Pelorus
Road District cannot be done by or within the times
mentioned in the said Act:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers
vested in him by the said "Rating Act, 1876," and
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the
times for doing the said things in connection with
the valuation roll of the said Pelorus Road District,
and doth declare that the times for doing such several
things shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

1. For transmitting to the Road Board the valua-
   tion list: On or before the 1st March, 1882.
