DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
for some time past carried on by JOHN KING,
Jun., and JOHN WILFORD SMITH, under the style of
"J. King and Co.," at London Street, Lyttelton, and
Colombo Street, Christchurch, as Grocers, was this
day dissolved by mutual consent, and the business
will from henceforth be carried on by the said John
King, jun., under the style of "J. King and Co.;"
and that the said John King, jun., will discharge all
debts and receive all credits on account of the said
partnership concern.

NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Shareholders of the
New Zealand Cement and Patent Stone Company
(Limited) will be held in Wain's Hotel, Princes
Street, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 5th of October
next, at 4 p.m., for the purpose of passing a special
resolution to voluntarily wind up the said Company,
and to appoint a Liquidator or Liquidators.

all other persons whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to apply for a
License to use the Dam and Water-race and
divert the water now and for a number of years past
used by me in connection with my saw- and flour-
mill at Tapanui. The point of commencement of
the said race is at the existing dam on Whisky Creek,
at a point about 102 chains in a direct line south-
east from the nearest point of the Town of Tapanui,
and its termination is at a point on the eastern
boundary-line of Section 6, Block IV., Glenkenich
District, about 18 chains due south from the north-
eastern corner of the said section. The length of
the said race is 70 chains or thereabouts, its mean
breadth is 3 feet, and its mean depth is 2 feet. The
quantity of water proposed to be diverted and carried
therein is four Government-heads.
The dam or reservoir intended to be used in con-
nection with the said race is situated at its com-
mencement, and it has a length of about 40 feet.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
for some time past carried on by Messrs.
EBENEZER CHARLES BROWN and JOHN WILFORD
SMITH, under the firm of "Brown and Smith," at
London Street, Lyttelton, as Drapers, was this day
dissolved by mutual consent, and the business will
from henceforth be carried on by John Wilford
Smith only; and that the said John Wilford Smith
is authorized to discharge all debts and to receive
all credits on account of the said partnership concern.
