Bringing Roman Catholic Cemeteries within the Dio-
cese of Wellington under "The Cemeteries Manage-
ment Act, 1877."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this
nineteenth day of September, 1882.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested
in him by the forty-second section of "The
Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," and at the
request of the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese
of Wellington, His Excellency the Administrator of
the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, doth hereby direct that,
from and after the date of this Order in Council, the
provisions of the aforesaid Act shall take effect in
respect of all cemeteries and burial-grounds set apart
for the exclusive use of the Roman Catholic denomi-
nation within the diocese aforesaid, comprising the
Provincial Districts of Taranaki, Hawke's Bay, Wel-
lington, Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, and West-
land respectively.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of September, 1882.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the seventeenth section of "The
Licensing Act, 1881," it is enacted that the

Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to
time alter the limits of any Native licensing districts
or abolish the same : And whereas it is expedient to
abolish the Native Licensing Districts of Tauranga,
Maketu, and Opotiki, and to constitute other districts
in lieu thereof:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, in pursuance and exercise of all
powers enabling him in this behalf, and by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
New Zealand, doth hereby abolish the said Native
Licensing Districts of Tauranga, Maketu, and Opotiki,
and doth constitute and define the several parts of
the colony mentioned and described in the Schedule
hereto to be Native licensing districts under "The
Licensing Act, 1881."

SCHEDULE.

OMATAROA.

BOUNDED towards the North-east by a right line
from Otanewainuku, skirting the northernmost shore
of Roto Ehu, and proceeding to the confiscated boun-
dary-line; thence towards the East by the said confis-
cated boundary-line; thence again towards the North
by the confiscated boundary-line aforesaid to the
south-western corner of the Opotiki Highway Dis-
trict; thence again towards the East by a right line
due south to Cook County; thence towards the
South and again towards the East by the said Cook
County; thence towards the South-east by Wairoa
County; thence towards the West and again towards
the South by East Taupo County; thence again
towards the West by Piako County to its eastern-
most angle; and thence again towards the North by
a right line to Otanewainuku, the place of com-
mencement.

WAIOEKA.

Bounded towards the North by the confiscated
boundary-line from the south-western corner of the
Opotiki Highway District to the south-eastern corner
of the said Opotiki Highway District; thence towards
the West by the eastern boundary-line of the Opotiki
Highway District aforesaid to the ocean; thence
towards the North-west by the ocean; thence towards
