pickles, perfumes, sauces, spices, vinegars.

NOTICE is hereby given that EDWARD WATERS,
Patent Agent, of Melbourne, in the Colony of
Victoria, has applied, on behalf of HENRY BROOKS,
of No. 70, Bishopsgate Street Within, in the City of
London, in England, and also of No. 39, Elizabeth
Street, in the City of Melbourne, and Colony of Vic-
toria, Merchant and Exporter, to register, under
"The Trade Marks Act, 1866," the trade mark of
which the following is a description, viz. :-
Description of Trade Mark.
The device of a helmet, with the words "Helmet
Brand" underneath it.
Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such
Trade Marks shall apply.
Chemical substances used in manufactures, photo-
graphy, or philosophical research; chemical sub-
stances used in medicine and pharmacy; raw vegetable
and animal substances used in manufactures; un-
wrought and partly wrought metals used in manufac-
ture; machinery of all kinds and parts of machinery,
including agricultural and horticultural implements
and machines; cutlery and edge tools; metal goods
not otherwise specified; goods of precious metals, in-
cluding aluminum, nickel, &c., and jewellery and
imitations of such goods and jewellery; glass, porce-
lain, and earthenware; manufactures from mineral
and other substances for building or decorations;
engineering, architectural, and building contrivances;
arms and military stores; linen and hemp yarn and
thread; jute yarns and tissues, and other articles
made of jute; leather and skins unwrought and
wrought, and hair and feathers; goods manufactured
from indiarubber and guttapercha; furniture and
upholstery; candles, illuminating oils, matches, and
common soap; goods not otherwise specified, and
manufactured of ivory, bone, wood, straw, grass, and
animal and vegetable substances; tobacco-pipes,
umbrellas, walking-sticks, brushes, combs, furniture-
cream, plate-powder, tarpaulins, tents, rick-cloths,
rope, twine, buttons and studs, packing and hose of
all kinds, coopers' wares, ice-safes, measuring tapes
for workmen's use, bags, sacks, hones, grindstones,
oilstones, patent and artificial fuel, emery powder;
polishes for furniture, harness, and other articles;
rouge, blacking, black-lead, silvering solution, steatite,
spectacle-cases; cement for china, glass, and fancy
articles; feeding-bottles, stone jars, feather trimmings
made up, wigs, chignons and pads, carriage and travel-
ling rugs.

Regulations for the Management of the Campbelltown
Cemetery, County of Southland.

THE following regulations for the management of
the Campbelltown Cemetery, having been sub-
mitted to His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government in Council, are published in accordance
with "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877."

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CAMPBELLTOWN
CEMETERY, MADE IN PURSUANCE OF SECTIONS 9
AND 23 OF "THE CEMETERIES MANAGEMENT
ACT, 1877."

A portion of the cemetery shall be divided into
three classes, viz. :- -
Class A: Being ground of which the perpetual
and exclusive right may be acquired, with the privilege
of enclosing the ground and of erecting headstones
or other monuments thereon. A portion of ground
of this class shall be staked off into lots of 13 feet by
9 feet. These lots shall be sold for £4. -
Class B: These lots shall be 13 feet by 4 feet
6 inches, and shall be sold for £2 each, with permission
to fence same and erect headstones. -
Class C: These lots shall be 6 feet 6 inches by
3 feet, and shall be sold for £1, with permission to
place flat tombstones on same.
General Regulations.

All graves to be 6 feet deep, but, in the event of
the purchasers of private ground desiring a greater
depth, an extra charge of 3s. 6d. shall be made for
every foot more than 6 feet deep in first class graves,
and 3s. per foot in second class graves. -
The Clerk shall provide all necessary furniture
and attendance for properly conducting interments. -
Any purchasers of private ground in which no
interment shall have taken place may transfer his or
her interest in said ground to any other person upon
payment being made to the Clerk of the cemetery
for the time being of a fee of 2s. 6d. for such transfer. -
A plan of the cemetery shall be prepared show-
ing particularly the lots so laid off, together with the
numbers thereof. -
The Clerk to the cemetery for the time being
shall keep a book in which he shall enter from time
to time the number of every lot sold, the name of the
purchaser thereof, together with the date of sale of
the same, and shall keep a record of the burials in
the cemetery. -
The Clerk of the cemetery for the time being
shall receive the purchase-money for the sale of such
lots, and shall give a receipt for the same, which
receipt shall be held conclusive evidence of the
purchase and selection of the lots mentioned therein. -
In all cases of intended interment the person
having the management or control of the same shall
apply to the Clerk of the cemetery for the time
being for a warrant for such interment, which
warrant the said Clerk is hereby authorized to grant
upon payment to him of the following fees, viz. :-
