I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the City of Edinburgh Quartz-Mining
Company as a Limited Company under the provisions
of “The Mining Companies Act, 1872.”

1. The name of the Company is to be the City of Edinburgh
   Quartz-Mining Company (Limited).
2. The place of intended operations is near Black’s Point,
   in the County of Inangahua, in the Colony of New Zealand.
3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
   Bridge Street, Reefton, in the county and colony aforesaid.
4. The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-four thou-
   sand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of one pound each,
   of which ten shillings per share is considered to be paid up.
5. The number of shares subscribed for is twenty-four thou-
   sand, being the entire number of shares in the Company.
6. The name of the Manager is Thomas Lee.
