Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Ahaura on or before
the 7th day of September, 1882.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Ahaura.

under-mentioned certificates have been declared void
and the leases forfeited; and that the land referred
to therein is now open for application or occupation
by holders of miners' rights as if no lease of the
same had ever been applied for :-

Block V., Waitahuna East, 4 acres 1 rood 36 perches.
