NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned
Crown lands will be sold by auction at Messrs.
J. Mundell and Co.'s Sale-rooms, Geraldine, on
Tuesday, the 3rd October next, at 12 o'clock:-

UPPER RANGITATA BRIDGE.

Block VI., 3 acres and 27 perches. Upset price,
£60, and £1,175 value of hotel and buildings
thereon.

Block VII., containing twelve allotments of 1 rood
each. Upset price, £5 per allotment.

Lots 1, 2, and 3, of Block VIII., 1 acre each.
Upset price, £10 per allotment.

TOWN OF GERALDINE.

Reserves Nos. 754, 797, 1594, 1622, 1623, and part
of Nos. 752 and 753, in allotments varying from 27

Sale of Pastoral Leases in the Land District of
Otago.

TO be sold by public auction, at the Crown Lands
Office, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 31st August,
1882, at 12 o'clock noon, the Leases of the under-
mentioned Pastoral Lands, viz. :-

Run No. 205A; term, 7 years. Upset rental, 6d.
per acre. Area, 3,940 acres.

Run No. 205B; term, 7 years. Upset rental, 6d.
per acre. Area, 3,960 acres.

Run No. 205c; term, 7 years. Upset rental, 6d.

Terms and Conditions of Sale. -The leases of the
above runs will be sold subject to the general pro-
visions as to runs specified in the Land Acts of 1877
and 1879. The first year's rent, with the license fee,
£10, to be paid on fall of hammer either by cheque
marked by banker or in cash, and thereafter by half-
yearly payments in advance on the 1st March and
the 1st September in each year. Possession will be
given on the 1st March, 1883. Valuations for im-
provements, if any, which shall in no case exceed
three times the amount of the average annual rent
paid under the existing lease, are to be paid to the
Receiver of Land Revenue, Dunedin, one one month
before getting possession, in pursuance of sections
115 to 117 of "The Land Act, 1877."

Terms and Conditions of Sale. - The first half-year's
rent to be paid on fall of hammer either by cheque

tember and March in each year. Possession will be
given on the 1st March, 1883. Valuations for im-
provements, if any, which shall in no case exceed

Secretary to the School Commissioners, at his office,
Colonial Bank Buildings, Dunedin, one month before
getting possession.

The new lessee shall be entitled to valuation for
improvements up to a limit of three years' rental.

mentioned leases, viz. :-

Run No. 205; term, 7 years. Upset rental, not
yet fixed. Area, 15,960 acres.

Run No. 2134; term, 10 years. Upset rental, not
yet fixed. Area, 16,048 acres.

Terms and Conditions of Sale. - The first half-year's
rent to be paid on fall of hammer either by cheque
marked by banker or in cash, and thereafter by half-
yearly payments in advance on the first days of Sep-
tember and March in each year. Possession will be
given on the 1st March, 1883. Valuations for im-
provements, if any, which shall in no case exceed
thrice the amount of the average annual rent paid
under the existing leases, are to be paid to the Secre-
tary to the School Commissioners, at his office, Colo-
nial Bank Buildings, Dunedin, one month before
getting possession.
