  1. The land shall be sold in allotments as shown on
    the official plan in the office of the Chief Surveyor at
    Christchurch.

  2. Sections forty-three and forty-four of "The
    Land Act, 1877," shall apply to the sale of the said
    lands.

  3. Crown grants will be issued to the purchasers
    on payment of the purchase-money and usual fees.

Land temporarily reserved in the Land Districts of
Otago and Southland.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve
from sale the land in the Land Districts of Otago
Southland, described in the Schedule hereunder
written, for the purposes in the said Schedule
specified.

SCHEDULE.
OTAGO.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, containing by admeasurement 200 acres 3
roods, more or less, situate in the Otara District,
and being Section No. 18 of Block I., Otara Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the North by Section No.
17 of same block and district, 4615 links; towards
the East by Section No. 2 of same block, 4962
links; towards the South-east, South-west, and West
by Crown lands, 10285 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. For a lighthouse reserve.

SOUTHLAND.
MATAURA.

All those several parcels of land in the Southland
Division of the Provincial District of Otago, viz.:-
Section No. 4, Block X., Town of Mataura, con-
taining 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the
North-east by Section No. 5 of said block, 250 links;
towards the South-east by Denbigh Street, 100 links;
towards the South-west by Section No. 3 of said
block, 250 links; and towards the North-west by
Section No. 6 of said block, 100 links.

Section No. 2, Block XI., Town of Mataura, con-
taining 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the
North-east by Section No. 3 of said block, 250 links;
towards the South-east by Denbigh Street, 100 links;
towards the South-west by Section No. 1 of said
block, 250 links; and towards the North-west by
Section No. 20 of said block, 100 links.

Section No. 18, Block XI., Town of Mataura, con-
taining 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the
North-east by Section No. 8 of said block, 100 links;
towards the South-east by Section No. 19 of said
block, 250 links; towards the South-west by Bristol
Street, 100 links; and towards the North-west by
Section No. 17 of said block, 250 links.

Section No. 9, Block XII., Town of Mataura, con-
taining 1 rood 2 perches, more or less. Bounded
towards the North-east by Section No. 13 of said
block, 101.8 links; towards the South-east by Section
No. 8 of said block, 274 links; towards the South-
west by Bangor Street, 100 links; and towards the
North-west by Section No. 10 of said block, 254.8
links.

Section No. 7, Block XIII., Town of Mataura, con-
taining 1 rood 26 perches, more or less. Bounded
towards the North-east by Section No. 8 of said block,
402.5 links; towards the South-east by a reserve,
103.5 links; towards the South-west by Section No. 6
of said block, 422 links; and towards the North-west
by Denbigh Street, 101.7 links.

Section No. 15, Block XIII., Town of Mataura,
containing 1 rood 1 perch, more or less. Bounded
towards the North-east by Section No. 16 of said
block, 248 links; towards the South-east by a reserve,
101.8 links; towards the South-west by Section No.
14 of said block, 267.5 links; and towards the North-
west by Denbigh Street, 100 links.

GORE.

Section No. 5, Block XVII., Town of Gore, con-
taining 1 rood 6 perches, more or less. Bounded on
the North by Surrey Street, 100 links; on the East
by Section No. 6 of said block, 291.5 links; on the
South by Section No. 10 of said block, 100 links;
and towards the West by Section No. 4 of said block,
291.5 links.

Section No. 7, Block XVIII., Town of Gore, con-
taining 1 rood 6 perches. Bounded on the North by
Surrey Street, 100 links; on the East by Section No.
8 of said block, 291.5 links; on the South by Section
No. 14 of said block, 100 links; and on the West by
Section No. 6 of said block, 291.5 links.

Section No. 18, Block XVIII., Town of Gore, con-
taining 1 rood 6 perches, more or less. Bounded on
the North by Section No. 3 of said block, 100 links;
on the East by Section No. 17 of said block, 288
links; on the South by Avon Street, 100 links; and
on the West by Section No. 19 of said block, 288
links.

Section No. 2, Block XIX., Town of Gore, con-
taining 25 perches, more or less. Bounded on the
North by Section No. 1 of said block, 196.5 links;
on the East by Section No. 7 of said block, 83.3 links;
on the South by Section No. 3 of said block, 180.4
links; and towards the West by Main Road, 84.8
links.

Section No. 7, Block XX., Town of Gore, contain-
ing 1 rood 2 perches, more or less. Bounded on the
North by Avon Street, 169 links; towards the South-
east by Richmond Street, 131.5 links and 141.5 links;
on the South by Section No. 8 of said block, 67.5
links; and towards the West by Section No. 6 of said
block, 250 links.

Section No. 12, Block XX., Town of Gore, contain-
ing 1 rood 18 perches, more or less. Bounded on
