IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
OTAGO, AND SOUTHLAND DISTRICT.

In the matter of "The Leases and Sales of Settled
Estates Act, 1865," and "The Leases and Sales of
Settled Estates Act 1865 Amendment Act, 1879,"
and in the matter of all that parcel of land
situated in the Town of Dunedin, in the Provin-
cial District of Otago, and being part of Section
11, Block V., on the map of the said town, bounded
towards the East by Hope Street, 85 feet; towards
the South by Manor Place, 66 feet; towards the
West by Section 10, 85 feet; and towards the
North by other part of the said Section 11, 66 feet.

PURSUANT to the above-mentioned Acts, and the
rules of this Court in that behalf, notice is
hereby given that, on the ninth day of January, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-two, MARION
JAMESON JOHNSTON, of Dunedin, Widow, presented
her Petition to this Court praying that a Lease may
be authorized of the parcel of land above mentioned
under the above-mentioned Acts, that the existing
Lease thereof may be surrendered, and that all pro-
per provisions may be made and directions given for
effecting such purposes, and that the Petitioner may
be ordered to pay the costs of and incident to the
said Petition.

And notice is also hereby given that the Petitioner
may be served with any order of the Court, or of the
Judge, or notice relating to the subject of the said
Petition, at the offices of Messieurs Kenyon and
Hosking, Princes Street, Dunedin.

N Extraordinary General Meeting of the Kaka-
nui Steam Shipping Company (Limited) was
held at the office of the Company in Kakanui on
Wednesday, the 19th day of October, 1881, to con-
sider a motion relative to winding up the Company,
when it was resolved, "That the Company be wound
up voluntarily, and that any money belonging to the
Company be divided pro ratá among the Shareholders,
after paying the expense of winding up the Com-
pany."

A second Extraordinary General Meeting was held
at the same place on Tuesday, the 20th day of Decem-
ber, 1881, when the above resolution was confirmed.

A Meeting of the Kakanui Steam Shipping Com-
pany (Limited) will be held in the office of the
Company at Kakanui on Friday, the 10th day of
February, 1882, to receive the Liquidators' account
of the winding up of the Company, and to pass their
accounts.

MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS REGISTRATION.

HENRY WALKER, Licentiate of Faculty Physicians
and Surgeons of Glasgow, and Licentiate of
Midwifery, now residing at Auckland, having de-
posited my qualifications with the Registrar of
Births, Marriages, and Deaths of the Auckland Dis-
trict this day, give notice that I intend to apply to
be registered, under the New Zealand Medical Act,
on the 1st of March, 1882.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
heretofore subsisting between us, the under-
signed CHARLES HILLARY PARKER and BUTLER
HILL WILLIAMS, as Commission Agents and Bailiffs,
carried on by us at Hereford Street, Christchurch,
under the style or firm of "Parker and Williams,"
has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the
6th day of January, 1882. The business will in
future be carried on by the said CHARLES HILLARY
PARKER alone, who will receive and pay all debts due
to and by the late firm.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership heretofore existing between Dr.
ELLIS and Dr. STEWART ceased by effluxion of
time on the 16th January, 1882, and the practice will
henceforth be carried on by Dr. STEWART, in Dr.
Ellis's late residence, Armagh Street West, Christ-
church.
