Boundaries of Tauranga Native Licensing District
altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixth day of May, 1882.
Present:
THE HONORABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the seventeenth section of "The
Licensing Act, 1881," it is enacted that the
Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to
time alter the limits of any Native Licensing District:
And whereas it is expedient to alter the limits of the
Native Licensing District of Tauranga, as described
in a Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of De-
cember, one thousand eight hudred and seventy:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in
pursuance and exercise of all powers enabling him in
this behalf, and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of New Zealand, doth hereby alter
the limits of the said district, and doth define that
part of the colony mentioned and described in the
Schedule hereto to be the Native Licensing District
of Tauranga for the purposes of the said Act, in lieu
of that described in the before-mentioned Procla-
mation.
SCHEDULE.
TAURANGA NATIVE LICENSING DISTRICT.
THIS district is bounded towards the North-east by
the sea, from a point on the coast five miles north of
Katikati to the mouth of the Wairakei Stream;
thence towards the South-east by a right line to the
summit of Otanewainuku Mountain; thence towards
the South-west by a line to and along the summit of
Te Aroha Range to the summit of Te Aroha Moun-
tain; thence towards the North-west by a right line
to the said point on the coast five miles north of
Katikati, the place of commencement: exclusive of
the Borough of Tauranga, and inclusive of Mayor,
Motiti, and Plate Islands.

Land temporarily reserved in the Land Districts of
Auckland, Nelson, Canterbury, Otago, and South-
land.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve
from sale the land in the Land Districts of Auck-
land, Nelson, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland,
described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the
purposes in the said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND.
ALL that piece or parcel of land called or known as
Section No. 13, Suburbs of Uawa, Uawa Survey Dis-
trict, Provincial District of Auckland, and containing
by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the North-west by the Uawa No. 1 Block,
1060 links; thence towards the East by the Tatara-
hake Block, 888 links; thence towards the South by
a public road 150 links, and by Section No. 12 of
the Suburbs of Uawa aforesaid, 724 links; thence
towards the West by Section No. 9 of the suburbs of
Uawa aforesaid, 268 links, to the point of commence-
ment: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
For a cemetery.
NELSON.
All that piece or parcel of land situate in the Land
District of Nelson, being Sections numbered from
840 to 859 inclusive on the plan of the Town of
Reefton, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 2
roods, be the same more or less. Bounded as fol-
lows: On the Northward by a street, 500 links; on
the Eastward by Bridge Street, 315 links; on the
Southward by William Street, 500 links; and on the
Westward by Walsh Street, 315 links: excepting the
right-of-way, 15 links in width, which divides the said
sections. As a site for public buildings.
CANTERBURY.
All that parcel of land in the Ellesmere Survey
District, Provincial District of Canterbury, containing
10 acres, more or less. Bounded-South-westward by
Reserve No. 810 (in red); North-westward by a road-
line, 1400 links; North-eastward by a line at right
angies to the north-western boundary; and South-
ward by Lake Forsyth and numbered 2533 (in red)
on the official map in the Survey Office, Christchurch.
For the use of aboriginal natives of the colony.
All that parcel of land in the Pigeon Bay Survey
District, Provincial District of Canterbury, contain-
ing 252 acres 1 rood, more or less. Bounded-
Northward by Section No. 33322; Eastward by
Section No. 33323; Southward by the road forming
the southern boundary of that section; and West-
ward by the Kaikatoa Road: and numbered 2534 (in
red) on the official map in the Survey Office, Christ-
church. For the use of aboriginal natives of the
colony.
All that parcel of land in the Pigeon Bay Survey
District, Provincial District of Canterbury, contain-
ing 46 acres, more or less. Bounded-Westward by
Section No. 25635; Southward by Section No. 33173;
and North-eastward and Eastward by a continuation
of the road forming the eastern boundary of the last-
mentioned section: and numbered 2535 (in red) on
the official map in the Survey Office, Christchurch.
For the use of aboriginal natives of the colony.
OTAGO.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more
or less, situated in the Town of Fortrose, being Sec-
tion No. 42, Block IV., on the map of the said town.
Bounded towards the North-west by Farrar Street,
1474'6 links; towards the East by Section No. 12,
Block VIII., Toitois District, 1038'1 links; towards
the South-east by Section No. 2 of the said Block
IV., 876 links; and towards the South-west by the
said Section No. 2, 850 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. For a recreation-ground.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Otago, containing by admeasurement (after
deducting reserve for tramway) 1 acre 3 roods 37
perches, more or less, situate in the Township of
Tapanui, and being Section No. 4 of Block XXIII.
of said township. Bounded towards the North by
Boundary Street, 262 links; towards the East by
Section No. 5 of same block, 764'5 links; towards the
South by Sections Nos. 6 and 7 of same block, 262
links; towards the West by Section No. 3 of same
block, 764'5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
