NOTICE is hereby given that ELIZABETH
ROBINSON, of Lyttelton, Widow, claiming
as Devisee under the will of JOHN ROBINSON, late of
Lyttelton, Sailmaker, deceased, has applied to be
registered as Proprietor of an estate for life in
Section 120, Town of Lyttelton, comprised in certi-
ficate of title, Vol. xiii., folio 65 ; and that she will
be so registered, unless caveat forbidding the same
be lodged within one month from the date of the
Gazette containing this notice.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.

Wakatipu, 31st March, 1882.

To the Mining Registrar at Arrowtown.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct
a Water-race to divert and use water for mining
purposes, commencing at a point at the head of
Water-race (5741, 9th May, 1879), late Jenkins, at
Twelve-Mile Creek, Macetown, and terminating at
Beale's Flat, Macetown.
The length of such race is one and a half miles
or thereabouts, and its intended course is from north;
the mean depth of such race is 2 feet, and the mean
breadth is 2 feet; and it is proposed to divert three
Government-heads of water.

Creek (the race being already constructed), Mace-
town, and terminating at the Tipperary Company's
crushing machine, Scanlan's Gully, Macetown.
The length of such race is four and a half miles or
thereabouts; the mean depth of such race is 4 feet,
and the mean breadth is 4 feet; and it is proposed to
divert three Government-heads of water.
